Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

I agree. It is baffling as to why he makes so many moves to run a simple slant. You're talking about it like he just needs to run in a slanted line after the ball hikes. https://i0.wp.com/www.packtothefuture.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/32c_adams_route.gif?resize=855%2C480 Why won't Adams just ru...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

I agree with both sides a bit in this latest turn if events. I agree that it is questionable whether Lock can be a competent starter in the NFL and that he currently lacks accuracy, and I also agree that Jeudy at times gets so engaged in his movements to create separation that he can throw off the ...

Re: Toney/tylan

If it weren't for an ACL injury as a sophomore, I think Wallace would be in talks for the Tier 1 group of WRs. He was that good (and still is). I get the appeal with Toney, but his resume isn't very strong. Getting some Phillip Dorsett vibes in terms of why he's getting mocked in the 1st round (of t...

Re: Opinion: Travis Etienne is the best RB prospect since Barkley

I’m confused by the belief that ETN is a superior pass game back than Harris as well. I’ve been pretty impressed with Harris in the pass game. I think he is more than solid there. The ETN perception to me feels like his ability to take it to the house thereafter, rather than the overall pass catchi...

Re: Is Trevor Lawrence the Most Hyped Player of All Time?

I've given up on using "generational talent" to describe anyone in dynasty. I remember when we called Amari Cooper, Leonard Fournette, Sammy Watkins, and Zeke that. Agreed with the above that 9/10 these are just good to great prospects, or in Trevor's case an all-time QB prospect. Haven't seen anyon...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Except for the part that he led the league in highest percentage of incomplete passes graded as the QBs fault and 19% of his wide open targets were uncatchable. There's of course things he needs to address, but the above numbers are pretty overwhelming and damning in terms of creating success for a ...

Re: Opinion: Travis Etienne is the best RB prospect since Barkley

I still wonder why he went back to college though for his senior year from a football perspective. It doesn't seem like his draft stock is any different, though I guess he went from being RB3-5 last year to RB 1-2 now.

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Not surprising. Said it all throughout this thread and the other one. PFF: UNCATCHABLE DEEP BALL AND END ZONE TARGETS Once again: Jeudy leads the way. His 47% uncatchable rate on deep balls was surpassed by only Mike Williams (48%), Stefon Diggs (50%) and Gallup (50%). I’m generally a Drew Lock apo...

Any RB who isn't elite/near elite or isn't a early pick from last year is vulnerable from year to year.

I actually think Edmunds is better than Conner, but neither one is a long-term answer.

Re: Unpopular Opinion: You will waste your premium 1st round pick on Kyle Pitts.

I'm a bit confused with where you're going with this? Are you trying to argue that draft capital is a good indicator for TE1 fantasy TEs? I don't think anyone is disputing that higher draft capital TEs tend to have higher floors.. but what does that floor really mean? ... most people just don't car...

Re: Russell Wilson/Seahawks Split?

To me, any NFL team hiring Brian Schottenheimer as their OC these days is clueless. Wilson, as you mentioned, makes these guys look decent, just because of his ability to improvise. It feels like most great coaches don't revert their style when defenses figure them out for a few games. They just ad...

Re: Kyle Pitts

I agree with you that yes, taking a TE at #6 overall probably gave unreal expectations, both in the NFL and for fantasy purposes. As far as I can tell, and drafthistory is a little confusing the further back you go, Davis remains one of the highest drafted TE of all time. I believe Ditka was the on...

Re: Kyle Pitts

There's so much that goes into TE beyond catching passes. Hell, even Vernon Davis, who is considered an all-time TE prospect and went 6th overall, was mostly an underachiever. He only had a few good years. My response is a general response but the Davis portion is a response to the above. Davis onl...
