Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Again, you're asking for proof of something that can't be provided. Which means...the article posted is a much more reasonable conclusion for Jeudy's struggles last season than a hunch that you can't support. Which article was posted? You don't mean a twitter feed do you? https://www.pff.com/news/f...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Your asking for something that obviously can't be provided unless I am or know the Denver coaches or players. I don't believe PFF does or is either, so in a lot of ways they are speculating. I don't want to diminish the work and time they put in, but I wouldn't use it as a gold standard either. You...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Lock went from a fairly respectable 2019 completion percentage of 64.1% to a dreadful 57.3% in 2020 with the only major change being losing an efficient route running and sure-handed Sutton and gaining a dropsy, inefficient route runner in Jeudy. There's your proof. Case Closed. First thing: This i...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

All we are doing here is speculating, including what PFF is doing on that stat. What do you or PFF have to validate that all of those passes were inaccurate? Just the fact that the ball was incomplete and that Jeudy wasn't where the ball was? Unless PFF is getting direct info from the actual teams ...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

So your position is that the DEN playbook calls for the receiver to take 8 choppy steps in place as part of a timing mechanism and then get into his route? Well, I guess it’s possible but it would be the first I’ve ever heard of something like this. And with that, I’ll withdraw from the discussion....

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

There's also no evidence the play was supposed to take him so long to get open. None of us know and neither does PFF. So it's possible that all of the plays they determined the QB was at fault or off on his throw are correctly on the QB. But not likely. But it's also possible that some of those wer...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

And hence the point in not carrying the discussion further. You posted a perfect example of how he can waste motion and take longer to get into his route and then the response is that’s it’s effective and not slowing the play down. If that’s a hot route and Lock is faced with an unblocked rush from...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

I agree with both sides a bit in this latest turn if events. I agree that it is questionable whether Lock can be a competent starter in the NFL and that he currently lacks accuracy, and I also agree that Jeudy at times gets so engaged in his movements to create separation that he can throw off the ...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Adams isn't running a slant here. And he looks nothing like Jeudy in this clip. ...yes, that much is clear. It's a slant and go. I'm showing you that there are different releases for every route at every alignment, against different coverages. Adams isn't running a 3-step slant route on the outside...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

I agree. It is baffling as to why he makes so many moves to run a simple slant. You're talking about it like he just needs to run in a slanted line after the ball hikes. https://i0.wp.com/www.packtothefuture.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/32c_adams_route.gif?resize=855%2C480 Why won't Adams just ru...

Re: Toney/tylan

If it weren't for an ACL injury as a sophomore, I think Wallace would be in talks for the Tier 1 group of WRs. He was that good (and still is). I get the appeal with Toney, but his resume isn't very strong. Getting some Phillip Dorsett vibes in terms of why he's getting mocked in the 1st round (of t...

Re: Opinion: Travis Etienne is the best RB prospect since Barkley

I’m confused by the belief that ETN is a superior pass game back than Harris as well. I’ve been pretty impressed with Harris in the pass game. I think he is more than solid there. The ETN perception to me feels like his ability to take it to the house thereafter, rather than the overall pass catchi...
