Re: Why is Mike Evans so disliked in the fantasy community?

A lot of these narratives against Evans aren't doing too well.

If you own Evans, you certainly deal with the dropoff in receptions in exchange for the touchdown upside and big play ability.

Re: Why is Mike Evans so disliked in the fantasy community?

I wish we had more of a comprehensive comparison of it, but just looking at Evans raw game logs: 2015: 17.1, 6.2, 7.1, 30.4, 7.8, 23, 20.6, 16.3, 11.4, 17.1, 6.9, 24.7, 10.1, 13.9 (4 games below double digits) 2016: 20.9, 19.0, 29.2, 10.9, 20.9, 29.6, 9.0, 38.0, 10.6, 16.5, 30.4, 6.8, 8.2, 9.9, 22.7...

Re: 2021 class - Short/small WRs

I don't think you should be adverse to drafting smaller WRs in todays NFL. The league is perfect for small WRs to succeed. Think about it, Cole Beasley is an undrafted WR, at 5'8, 175 and he just went 82/967 last season. Players like Antonio Brown, TY Hilton, Tyreek Hill, etc. are barely 5'10 and th...

Re: Russell Wilson/Seahawks Split?

The team was at its best when they ran the ball effectively and played defense. If Russ was dealt I’d be buying low on whoever the starting RB was. It should be noted though, that their defense was an all-time elite defense: Sherman, Thomas, Wright, Wagner, Chancellor, Bennett, Avril, McDaniel...th...

Re: Mecole hardman thoughts/value

Hey, a 3rd this year is of value! Would rather have Hardman than a 3rd, just for the simple fact that he would have increased opportunity in an offense with Patrick Mahomes at QB and won't see tough defensive coverage. You never really know. Injuries could happen and Hardman might take on a bigger ...

Re: Kyle Pitts

Hockenson and Fant more or less seem the same fantasy wise. Hockenson is supposed to be a better football player because of his value as a blocker. Right now one guy has Jared Goff at QB and the other has Drew Lock. Hockenson may breakout next year with Marvin Jones gone and Golladay's future in the...

Re: Russell Wilson/Seahawks Split?

Probably going to have to be Pete's team, or Wilson's team at some point. I really wouldn't have thought it would come to this. But since coming into the league Wilson has been kind of a "Bull Durham" type quote. Always saying the "right" thing, never throwing players, coaches, or teammates under t...

Re: Henry Ruggs is Much More Than Speed

Thing is, most of the fantasy community were wise to Ruggs. The fantasy community tends to be sharper than the NFL evaluators, especially after living through Marquis Brown and John Ross . He only went in the first round in one of my rookie drafts last year. Of course that guy took him over Justin ...

Re: Henry Ruggs is Much More Than Speed

I’ll tell you what my process told me last year , Henry Ruggs was the easiest fade on the board, Reagor was #2. This year Kadarius Tony, Waddle and Rondale Moore are players I will happily miss on. Is their tape intoxicating, yes. Do you trust NFL teams to be creative enough to consistently scheme ...

Re: Why is Mike Evans so disliked in the fantasy community?

Only way I wouldn't trade 1.05/Mims for Evans is if my team wasn't close to contention. Evans is still in the WR1 mix, even if he played catchup towards the end of the season. Mims looked encouraging last year, but he's probably still just worth a late first-early 2nd right now in value. At 1.05 in ...

Re: Justin Jefferson #1 Dynasty WR?

Adams is 6.5 years older than Jefferson. That's...pretty significant. Adams also scored 8.5 PPG higher in PPR formats this past year. That doesn't somehow render the age gap not huge. Jefferson isn't even really in his prime yet and Adams is on the tail end of his prime. I wouldn't say Adams is on ...

Re: Henry Ruggs is Much More Than Speed

What gets me every time is the confusing statement that even if the process is right, you can still be wrong. No matter how well someone can scout a player etc there are so many variables like the team they go to, maybe their personality clashed with the other players, maybe they didn't take to the...

Re: Darren Waller...is he the real deal?

Yep, Waller is firmly an elite TE right now and likely the TE3 for most people behind whatever combination of Kelce and Kittle.

I don't think anyone is downgrading him for his off-field struggles before his breakout. He's been elite two seasons in a row, so there's no fluke.
