Re: Trey Sermon

Wilson out means less competition, this is shaping up to be very interesting. Sermons value is going to continue to rise. Wheels on the bus go round and round...

Re: DJ Chark

I'm wheels up on him, he's one of the lesser talked about hype receivers this year but I think the fact that their is a convo about him being worth lie 1.09 -1.12 really makes him a value. Last year he played banged up and he was dealing with a lot of poor QB play. Lawrence is going to be miles ahea...

Re: Thoughts on Amon-Ra

I think he's gonna be an excellent value and I wish I could've gotten him in at least one league lol

Re: Are Najee & ETN the 2021 versions of Fournette & Cook?

Fournette was drafted in the range that all-time RB prospects usually go (Top 5). I think people thought Fournette could be an Adrian Peterson-type of talent. Neither Najee or Etienne is close to that. I think they are both good, but not great backs and will settle into that tier in the NFL. Doesn'...

Re: Trey Sermon

I like Sermon a lot but he’s still my RB 4. In superflex I think you have to take the five qbs, other 3 rbs and chase, smith, waddle, pitts over him and possibly batemen. That puts him at 13/14 overall and I don’t see it climbing too much. In 1 QB ignoring the five qbs I think there’s easily a debat...

Re: Trey Sermon

Well, from what I can see Vaughn tested above-average for speed, didn't test in the agility drills, broad jump was close to average but only had a 32" vertical, which isn't ideal but many great rb's had poor verticals. It would be hard to argue his athleticism is why he failed. A more crowded backf...

Re: Trey Sermon

I think Sermon is getting the early Keshawn Vaughn comps but I disagree with them. Vaughn went to a more crowded backfield and tested horrendously (even if we agree pro days aren't super legit we can agree Sermon overall tested well with the exception of long speed). Well, from what I can see Vaugh...

Re: Trey Sermon

I get where the debate is going from both Ice and DD, I think Hottoddies nailed it in summary. Let's just get back to what this really means for Sermon. I'm seeing all over twitter this AM from the big hitters that people are fools for taking Sermon back end round 1/early round 2 in SF. I'm taking S...

Re: Trey Sermon

Draft capital shmaft capital. The real question is: did Kyle pound the table for Sermon or not? Isn't that likely a yes if they traded up for him? I think you maybe missed the humor of his "pound the table" line! Back in 2017 there was a long behind the scenes story written about the first Shanahan...

Re: Trey Sermon

I get that people won't want to touch him because the backfield is murky but again... early round 2/mid round 2 in SF, I feel like this is a worthwhile risk. The old adage is "teams tell you how they feel about players twice a year: 1) Free Agency 2) Draft Day" This is how our draft went for referen...

Re: Jaylen Waddle or Devonta Smith?

Smith for me, I like both a lot but Smith is athletically no slouch even if he's not Waddle tier athleticism.

Re: Trey Sermon

I'm all in on Sermon. I was targeting him pre-draft early 2nd but his landing spot had moved him up from mid to late 1st at best. Here's what he has working for him: - (As mentioned) has decent draft capital - No 49ers RB is under contract after this year and their leading RB is 29 - Very good fit ...

Re: Trey Sermon

be wrong, but has Shanahan ever drafted an RB earlier than Sermon? I'm not saying he's better than the top 3 backs but I do think he can pay off big and you're going to see him rising up boards for the next 3 months. If you can get him 2.01-2.05 in SF or back of round 1 in 1QB I'm pulling trig. I d...

Trey Sermon

I know there's been a lot of chatter on him in multiple different threads but I feel like he's going to be a real value in terms of where he's going in rookie drafts. Yes the room is a little crowded, but not with any legit threats long term (believe all the deals are 1 year for their RBs). SF trade...
