The thing is there isn't really a player I want (Howard was the last guy I really would be excited about) but I think 2nd round rookie picks are a low hit rate gamble so why not take two swings?

Our rookie draft is at pick 2.08 and I've been offered this trade. I give: 2017 2nd I get: 2.08 and 2.11 I currently have no more picks in the rookie/FA draft - 3 rounds total. Good on you, but I think it's such a long way off to the 2.07 to "game plan" any picks there.
Someone will likely fall, but I don't see the point of trying to predict that far ahead, especially in a slow draft. I'd start looking at the top of 2.01.
