Re: Tua & Lamb for J. Daniels, Nabers & Olave

I'd pull the trigger. With your team and the starting lineups, I think having more pieces is better. All the pieces you're get back are top-end / elite prospects and players, so this isn't the typical lots-of-junk-for-one-stud deal. There's definite risk, and there's also risk in holding onto Lamb w...

Re: 14 Team SF, pick a side

Is this a Devy league?? I'm confused how both rookies and rookie picks (especially 1.08) can be in the same trade. No, sorry. The owner with 1.08 took Maye Edited op Gotcha. Thank you! I think the value is slightly on Side B. But I'd have a hard time giving up Side A for soooo many lottery tickets....

Re: Olave or Dell and Brooks?

I'm doing that with the understanding that it's more of a 2025 play than 2024 (though Brooks might well come on later in the season). Just too good of value in my opinion to pass.

Re: Getting the 1.04

I think with that team in a 8 team league you are not a contender? Did you earn the 1-01 if so I keeping that 25 1st as it could very early too. This team did earn the 1.01. I took it over last year and am looking to make a jump this year. My 2025 1st may be a mid round pick. I love the optimism, a...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

If you allow trades like this, you end up with teams so lopsided that people leave. Then you have to try to find someone willing to pay to take over a team that has no shot of winning for the next 5 years. So find someone willing to pay entry for 5 years or more with no chance at all. Worst team in...

Piling on. You're looking for multiple pieces still, and that 2025 1st could be very early.

Piling on and adding.

Given your WRs and the addition of MJH (and possibly another WR at 1.06), you won't need to start D Smith most weeks anyway.

Re: Superflex qb trade

Which Daniels is it? If it's Jayden, then how are you trading draft picks for this year? If it's someone else, then I'm completely blanking... It’s Jayden Daniels . I just drafted him at 24 1.04. But due to my qb depth now considering moving one Gotcha. In that case... 12x 10 SF 1.75 TEP QBs are jo...

Re: Garret Wilson views?

FWIW, Jefferson, Lamb, Harrison, Puka, Nabers all have varying degrees of real QB questions/concerns going into 2025. I'm certainly more comfortable with, say, Chase than JJ for that exact reason. But I'm only going to drop someone so far despite QB issues. Also, FWIW, we've seen that G Wilson can p...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

Jefferson for Devonta Smith, 2025 2nd, and Justin Fields I think you've highlighted the issue with vetoes: As an owner and a commish, I have no issue with your hypothetical trade. Don't me wrong: I think the player trading away Jefferson is losing out on value. But I'd have no problem with it all a...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

The bolded is what I was asking in starting this thread. Or rather, just asking what is it that would trigger someone to want a trade vetoed. I was thinking about this kind of on the whole and found a good thought experiment of what I think would help the discussion: When we deal with players, peop...

Exactly my thoughts, too.

Njoku, Swift, and Kupp are all fine. McBride might end up another Njoku, but he also has potential to be special. IMO, getting a 2nd and Wicks on top is a bonus.
