Re: DLF Etiquette

I grabbed this example from the "Deepest Sleepers" thread to highlight one of my pet peeves. Just stating what I saw. He could be timed fast, but his routes were so ugly and indecisive he definitely does not play at a 4.33. He would not be the first WR to time fast and play slow. And it does not mea...

Re: fantasy impact of coronavirus

Genuinely interested to see how leagues that are new handle no 2021 season? Some teams that drafted in the "productive struggle" mold could lose out big time, if it's a pure lottery for next years rookie draft. Could see some win now teams get an early first, while teams who were banking on an earl...

Re: Different ways to set draft order? (Poll)

In the 10 team league that I manage the 4 non-playoff teams are determined by potential points. The champion drafts 1.10 and the runner-up drafts 1.09. The winner of the 3rd place consolation game drafts 1.07 and the loser drafts 1.08. The winner of the 5th place consolation game drafts 1.05 and the...

Re: DLF Etiquette

Finally, on your "mano a mano" point, I've never heard 1 single person think it means "man to man", the first reference to such I've ever seen is literally you right here. That’s wild. You must not watch much sports. I hear it used synonymously with “man to man” all the time in sports broadcasts. M...

Re: DLF Etiquette

What I find particularly irksome in sports broadcasting is the all-too-frequent use of “mano a mano” where the speaker obviously thinks it means “man to man.” It's actually Spanish for "hand to hand" It is used to mean that two people are pitted in competition with each other. So in this sense, spo...

Maybe it will include the confederate flag that mattered. Image
 This is funny on so many different levels. I'm just not sure if it's politically correct to laugh at it though. But I will anyway.

Re: We're all sleeping on Michael Pittman

Does breakout age or dominator rating actually have any statistically significant predictive value, or is it more of a “flipped heads 8/10 times, so heads is 80% odds to hit” type of thing? Serious question. It just means that 80% of the players that hit had good dominator ratings and early breakou...

Re: Draft Strategy for new Dynasty Startup

In a one QB league I think it would be a huge mistake to take a QB in the first round. Most of the good young RBs, including the rookies, will be gone after the first 3 rounds. I think the earliest you would need to take Mahomes is late 2nd round or early 3rd. However, taking a QB back that early wo...

Re: How much does Brandon Brooks injury effect Miles Sanders?

The good news is that guards are the easiest position to replace on the offensive line. While he may have been the best guard in the league, it's not the end of the world. I think the Eagles can survive this loss.

Now i'm having fun with this, I got Patsfan86 to admit that he didn't intentionally make another team better, but that he is an idiot.
Friends can be like mirrors sometimes. I think you guys deserve each other. Good luck with that.

Re: Is Reagor the top WR to get in 2020?

Don’t think the Eagles is great landing spot either. Reagor is a quality player probably 7th best in this class. Time will tell but don’t see him as WR1 on his own team so he gets a 2nd round fantasy grade in my book. Not that disagree with your assessment of Reagor, but who do you see as the WR1 f...

Re: Picks trade

Pick 7 in a SF is one of the top 5 RBs or your choice of Lamb/Jeudy. Swift fell to me at 1.08 in ours. This draft is deep, with many good WR prospects available. But if your team has need at RB or doesn’t need the depth, the earlier pick is better. Otherwise, the value is on the package side. This ...

Re: What would you do with 1.3 with this roster?

You can never have too many RBs. They tend to get hurt often and are the easiest asset to trade. Dobbins is the easy answer.
