Re: Rice/2nd for Tate/1st?

Definitely take that deal. Rice = Alexandre IMO. I don't think he is going to rebound and i think you should take this deal and run before he posts another bad game. Also there is talk of him losing significant carries to Pierce in a "Hot Hand" RBBC approach once that happens your likely ...

Re: Tanking

Run. Run fast. Tanking is fightin' words 'round here. But really, I made a post about tanking awhile ago and it blew up. This is also my first year of dynasty in a league in which I know a lot of the owners personally, and since our commish even thought about tanking earlier in the season, I thought...

Re: Even bother picking up a D/ST before Sunday?

But I'm not putting myself in a position in which I plan to lose. I'm starting my most favorable lineup every week, except I haven't picked up a D/ST unless I know it will help me win, which I have the option to gauge on Sunday night. Like I said, if the game was close following Sunday's games, I wo...

Re: Vernon Trade

I would look to the Eifert owner, especially if he's in contention. I think Eifert will be a star TE1 in the future in the same vein as Davis, and depending on how he values Eifert vs. Davis, you may be able to eek out something else of value if you throw him one of your fliers.

Even bother picking up a D/ST before Sunday?

My team is a lucky 3-6, and has been hit hard by the suck factor in Rice as well as the injury bug with Cobb, Harvin, and Spiller to a lesser degree. I recently traded the Panthers defense to a contender in a move to acquire Crabtree, since I figured a top defense hardly means anything to little old...

Re: LeSean McCoy for Cobb +++

Not to pile on or anything, but...Aww forget it. Piling on. I wouldn't move McCoy. I would, however, look to trade Welker to the Cobb owner. I don't know how much of a contender he is, but if he's definitely in it this year, I would push Welker plus a tiny piece for him. A lot of it depends on opini...

Re: Garcon Trade

I prefer Garcon as well. By far and wide the number 1 option there, and will be for a while. Sees just as many looks at a higher percentage, and is a better redzone target.

Re: Vernon Trade

Though I think it's a good idea to move Vernon now to a contender, I think you could get quite a bit more value. You're not getting any piece who you can be confident in going forward for two very good players in Vernon and Tate. Pead is essentially nothing to me, as he's been dumped to fourth strin...

Re: Murray for Decker?

Even in redraft, I would trade Decker straight up for Murray. Combined with the fact that he probably won't be catching passes from number 18 next year and the added value of Osweiler and Housler, I would do that. However, I would see if I could make a sneaky preemptive move for Randle quickly first.

Re: CJ Spiller trade

I'm higher than most on Spiller, and not nearly as high on Hilton as some are. I think Hilton is on the upswing with the potential to be like Torrey, but not the crazy locked in WR1 some think he is, so this deal isn't too far off for me. I would counter with a 3rd instead of a 2nd and see what he s...

Re: Why have we been ignoring this?

As an incredibly frustrated Rice owner and Ravens fan, I've been monitoring this situation all season. His low YPC is explained by the two variables of yards before first contact and yards after contact . While I don't know Rice's exact average yards before first contact (can I get any love from som...

Re: TY Hilton vs Torrey Smith

I also like Torrey more. I don't completely get why anyone would love TY over Torrey and it not being close. What is there to love about TY that Torrey doesn't already have/can get just as easily? Targets-Torrey YPR-Torrey YAC-Torrey Redzone targets-Torrey Catch percentage-Surprisingly Torrey, thoug...

Re: Blackmon trade....with an impatient owner

Andre is 32, and even though he's signed through 2016, I would expect the Texans to either attempt to restructure his contract between the 2014 and 2015 seasons, as his salary is in place to jump from $6.5 to $10.5 million. Normally, receivers remain in their prime until age 32-33, and since I see h...

What is Blackmon even worth offering?

The Blackmon owner in my league is 6-1 (we missed week 1) and tied for 1st. On top of the fact that he's in win now mode, he seems like an owner who's naturally inclined to pay more attention to short term value than long term. I eeked out a few low scoring wins and sit at 3-4, tied for 3rd, but I'm...
