I would be upset if my commish unilaterally implemented a trade deadline that wasn't in the rules. My favorite leagues are the ones which don't have any deadline. Why shouldn't I be able to replace an injured player just because it happens week 13 instead of week 12?

I think part of it comes from being a 4th round draft pick, some people still think RG3 or Colt McCoy should have won out. He's also not signed to a long-term contract which adds some uncertainty to his value.
