Re: Help to get MFL to implement 'Depth Chart' style roster

I'd like that functionality also. As a side note, have any of you ever tried to use their watch list and then re-order players on it? If not, go check it out. It's maddening. (My Team Page -> Watch List)

Re: Rob Kelley

I'll add that Jones has a history of fumbling, which could cause him to cede work throughout the season regardless of how pedestrian Kelley is.

Re: Dion Lewis

Sold Lewis for JStew and a 17 second a few months back for just this very reason, uber talented but just can't stay healthy. As for white, he'll have value but you'll probably never feel great starting him on a week to week basis. Lewis is a special athlete, White is a jag with a good opportunity. ...

Re: Terrell Pryor, High upside?

His 93 yard TD run whilst Raiders QB is their longest in franchise history .... Not that he had much to beat once the Steelers bought the fake hand-off worse than you'd expect a pee-wee team to. I think there is more than just a go route in him, but his plays may have to be specifically schemed for...

Re: Terrell Pryor, High upside?

Yes, but he is still inexperienced and lacks refinement. Based on that, I think he will be a spotty play week to week even when the matchup looks good on paper (matches against a poor CB, etc.) I'd draft him with confidence in a best ball league, though. I think he will blow up a few weeks this year...

Re: Rishard Matthews..can he be #1 WR in Tennesse?

The allure of Matthews is largely his price. The Titans figure to be a run first offense with low passing volume, and Mariota's apparent preferred target is a TE. Given all of that, if he wins the WR1 role he stands to significantly out-produce his draft position. However, if people start taking him...

Re: Pre Season Stock Watch: Risers and Fallers

I'm on the fence with Janis where I own him. Depends on my team composition and the format. I do own Abbrederis in the same places I own Janis, though, so I feel I've mitigated my opportunity cost / losses if I do move from Janis as I still have a horse in the race.

Re: Sammie Coates

My problem with Coates is that he's fairly raw and he's getting an opportunity now, in my estimation before he is polished enough to really capitalize. I'm buying the forgotten, nearly free DHB at much lower prices to get a horse in the Pitt WR race. Still taking DHB over Coates at their prices aft...

Re: Pre Season Stock Watch: Risers and Fallers

Some guys from Friday night's games: Terelle Pryor up. He actually looked like he could play some wide receiver last night. Coming along faster than I expected in that regard - adjusting to ball in mid-air and being where he needs to be when needs to be there are things I thought would take another ...

Re: Pre Season Stock Watch: Risers and Fallers

Agreed on Bell and Smelter. I like them as prospects but it's becoming harder to like their pro potential when everything we hear is negative.

Re: League is trying to screw me

If that's what they want to do, it probably isn't the right league for you anymore.

Maybe you could talk them into an empire league kind of setup whereby if one team wins 2 years in a row they get a bonus pot that you set aside money into each year and then blow the whole thing up / start over.

Re: Pre Season Stock Watch: Risers and Fallers

Michael Thomas up
Terrence West up
Kenneth Dixon up? He looked good but West's performance could counter-balance it.

Re: Baltimore Backfield: West?

I want no part of this backfield. There's no clear cut best talent, and Dixon and Allen are eerily similar players. Not sure about West. Plus, the draft capital spent on them has been relatively low, so they could still spend a high pick on an RB going forward. I have no issues with that stance, it...

Re: Baltimore Backfield: West?

West is and has been a pretty good player. His problem early on was his hesitation and dancing behind the line rather than committing. I dubbed him Terrance "East to" West his rookie year. If he can put that behind him, no reason to think he can't carve out some kind of role in the NFL. Ha...
