He's not consistent because he was not consistently used. He was never given a shot. Even when Gore got hurt. Every time he got some touches, he produced.

It was a terrible pick at the time, and even worse now that they've shown that Carson is the man. Still not as bad as the Bucs last 2 2nd round picks: a kicker who stunk, and a RB they kept inactive most of the year and never gave him a shot. Even worse that I wasted picks on these bums.
