Re: Josh Jacobs Value - Poll
The year after Larry Johnson broke out he had 2,200 scrimmage yards, 19 TDs and 375 total fantasy points. I mean sure he fell off after that, but that trade easily could have cost you a championship depending on what the haul was. It sounds like you’re trying to win an internet argument. 😉 You aske...

Re: Josh Jacobs Value - Poll
Oh, he'll be a top 10 rookie pick this year. And if I had a top 10 rookie pick then it would be something that I would gladly trade down from before selecting Jacobs. Either that, or take Jacobs and then sell high later in the season. :-D Would you sell high now? Absolutely! This is a perfect time ...

Re: Bold Prediction - End of Amateur Athletes
I don't think there's going to be big changes in direct compensation from the school to the players. What I think will happen is players will be able to make money on their likeness from autographs, endorsements, etc. I think there will be college jersey sales with the players name on it and probab...

Re: Potential NFL Playoffs Expansion
LOL ... that's what we need, another mediocre team in the playoffs. I already skip most/all the wildcard games as it is.

Re: WRs Who Can Challenge Jerry Jeudy for the WR1 Spot
I haven’t watched a ton of tape for the 2020 class, which is my disclaimer for: Ruggs looks to be as good as Jeudy to me and maybe better. From what I’ve seen, Ruggs gets better separation and has better hands. The 2018 offensive script favored Jeudy in the slot over the 2 guys playing outside. All ...

Re: Mandatory Trade Leagues
Not a big fan of this idea, but I can see how this could work. My primary league is an auction format with no salary cap. Each year the rookies are auctioned off to the highest bidder. Any unspent money is saved for later use (e.g. trades, free agents, or next year's rookies). In a league like that...

Thank goodness for this. What would an NFL season be without a new Josh Gordon thread?

Re: Mandatory Trade Leagues
each owner is assigned 1 month out of the year where they must nominate a top 100 (ADP-based) player for trade. Owners then silently bid on that player, and the owner must accept the best offer. Not a big fan of this idea, but I can see how this could work. My primary league is an auction format wi...

Re: 2019 Running Back Report
Yeah, the work never stops. :-) But it has slowed down some on the RB front, mostly because there hasn't been a need to make any big changes to the RB evaluation process. The last few years have been really solid. The past couple of years has been spent looking closer at WR and QB, with the same ov...

Yeah, love the "Bitcoin" tag. There is a rookie every year that could receive the Bitcoin label.

Re: Rookie Auction draft?
^^ It looks like your league's dollar values are coming down fast after the 2nd or 3rd pick. Based on the last 10 years of our rookie auction, that may imply you can get a lot of value by trading back! Below is the average money spent for the top 20 rookies each year in the league I've been referenc...
