Re: Bill O'Brien fired
So where are all those people insisting that BOB might know more than the fantasy public? That those awful trades actually weren’t so bad... Welcome to reality.

Re: Darrell Henderson
My concern with Akers was always his vision and his tendency to try to create on his own rather than take what the blockers game him. He ran into his own blockers a lot in college and would frequently cut back across the field because he didn’t like what was available within the confines of the play...

Re: Herbert Soars
Glad to see Herbert do well. I had him as my top QB, but mostly due to major flaws in the other top QBs of this draft. Certainly, he’s still got a ways to go, but you couldn’t ask for much better of a start. What major flaws do Burrow and Tua have (other than Tuas injuries) that Herbert doesn't hav...

Re: The Joe Burrow Thread
Mostly playing devil’s advocate here, but not entirely. Yes, he’s shown a willingness to bounce back and his coaches clearly have confidence in him as he’s thrown more than any other QB in the league so far. However, statistically he’s been worse than Mitch Trubisky in most major rate categories and...

Re: Bears
Ryan Pace is the worst GM in the league. Please tell me otherwise. Horrible draft selections: In 2017 the gave up an insane amount to move up one slot to draft Trubisky and then proceeded to draft Shaheen in the 2nd round. Terrible QB deals Mike Glennon - 3 Years $45 million Nick Foles - 3 Years $2...

Re: Bears
I agree that Pace is terrible, but those QB deals aren't terrible. QBs, even average ones, get paid a lot. When you don't have an elite QB, you have to take chances. Those contracts were very short, so they could move on from them if/when they don't pan out. Drafting Trubisky is the biggest error. ...

Re: If Brady falters in T.B?
This was never a good fit as Brady has generally been heavily reliant on short, high efficiency passes to the slot, TE and RB. Arians likes the deep ball. That said, this wouldnt be the first season where Brady looked average in the first game, only to turn it around down the stretch, so I wouldnt ...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out
Doesn't really matter, teams know what they are doing juggling the cap , and it's going to be going up a lot in a few years when TV deals are done. Rams are getting close to giving Kupp a big extension despite all the massive contracts they've given out recently. Recent history shows us that's not ...

Re: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is your new 1.01
I can admit when I am wrong. His pure running ability was much better last night than I expected. It wasn't just the opportunity, which was my arguement. He makes guys miss and is elusive. To be fair, he is facing pretty light boxes outside of the goal line, on a handful of plays there was a 5 man ...

Re: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is your new 1.01
First game. Wonder if the goalline "issues" are just a matter of him being a bit more patient in finding the hole. I haven't rewatched any of his GL carries, but it didn't look like his line did him any favors there. At his size though, maybe he just needs to get low and squirt through the line? Ju...

Re: Survivor pool
The Seahawks should stomp the Falcons. I also like Pittsburgh against the Giants.
I went 49ers over the Cardinals. I generally don’t like division games and I know the Cards played them tight last year, but the talent gap is pretty wide here even with Buckner moving on.
