Re: Brandin Cooks traded to Houston

Essentially if Hopkins wants his 20 mill annually (which he technically deserves), then the Texans are getting David Johnson + Brandin Cooks for Hopkins, as well as moving up from the end of the 2nd to the beginning of the 2nd. It will only work out if Johnson can be very good. I know Hopkins said ...

Re: Brandin Cooks traded to Houston

Anyone looking at the TEs in Houston? It’s clear that the team has lots of downfield presence and Cobb seems a solid slot option, but I would think there is still a lot of value to be had underneath.

Re: Kupps value up??

I dont think the rams spend an early pick at WR or RB, they have so many issues everywhere else and the dead cap hits they have taken are huge. I think Reynolds steps up and it might mean more targets for their TE's. They’re already talking about a need to get Everett more involved so this makes so...

Re: Kupps value up??

I don't think it matters that much. Cooks wasn't doing much last year, and he wasn't the reason Kupp was successful. Gurley wasn't scaring anyone last year, either. I think Kupp is going to be heavily targeted regardless. The Rams may add another WR in the draft, or go with Reynolds. Cooks was on p...

Re: Brandin Cooks traded to Houston

Well, if they bench Cooks to start the season and then roll him out when Fuller inevitably gets hurt, maybe the two of them combined can provide the value of one solid deep threat receiver.

Re: Kupps value up??

He’s a slot guy, and the deep threat just got axed... and the starting RB. Not sure I’d be counting on Kupp to improve over last year’s numbers.

Rams picking up pick 57 changes my outlook on Henderson quite a bit right now.
Losing Cooks creates a fairly large hole as well though, no? I get that he was injured all year, but he was still their number one receiver on the outside.

Re: Brandin Cooks traded to Houston

Cooks should probably be looking at retirement after last year. At least take a year off.

You think getting all of that money would help people walk away from those types of people and situations... sad
Walk away from getting shot and seeing your friend die while the shooters get off?

Re: Njoku

The team bringing in Hooper is likely end game for Njoku in Cleveland. If he’s a solid blocker, he might at least get substantial snaps, but Stefanski isn’t going to suddenly build the second coming of the Gronk/Hernandez offense.

Re: 2020 Deep Sleepers

I drafted Rodney last season and held onto him. The Trayveon owner offered me him but later dropped him to FA. I picked up Sims Jr after he started to look interesting in DC and have Justin Watson from late in the season as well. I drafted and later dropped Kelvin Harmon during a bye week and got o...

Re: Watkins resigned

Wait, are you saying Watkins at 21M was cheap because he was at the end of his contract? And he was underpaid? They restructured him to be at a lower price. I'm really confused as to your point here. His contract before was back loaded and was way too much for them to pay for him this year. Imo, it...

Re: Peer Review of DLF Mike's 2016-2019 RB Analysis

Just looking at the premise of this post again, once again, it’s as if nobody read the reports. Having David Montgomery as his rb3 isn’t a miss, he blatantly said the fact that he is ranked that high highlights how poor the draft class is as he’s low on him and sees him as a rb2 - how is that a mis...

Re: Running Back Vulnerability Index

Which FA RB are left? https://www.rotoworld.com/article/free-agency-update/2020-nfl-free-agent-tracker-0 Depends on what you're looking for, but DFree, Hyde,Lamar Miller, Theo Riddick, Chris Thompson, Frank Gore, LeSean McCoy, Bilal Powell are eye catching. That ignores cut or trade candidates such...
