Re: Startup, first time IDP'er

1 DT 3 DE 5 LB 3 DB Play the waivers game at DT and DB. Put your focus on LB with high tackle numbers. Do not get enticed by sack artists like Aldon Smith and Clay Matthews. Actually, sack artists are going to factor in heavily to this scoring system. With tackles being 1.5 and a sack totaling 6 pt...

Re: IDP rankings

New to IDP and just joined a tackle heavy league. Are the rankings found on here reflective of that sort of scoring system? If not, what is the best course of action to take when trying to rank the players for a tackle heavy league? Yes, our rankings favor a tackle heavy format not reliant on big p...

Re: Kuechly Value

I would counter offer with D. Bishop for Wallace and see what he says. Kuechley is worth more than Wallace.

Re: Desmond Bishop in Minnesota

From what I have heard it sounds like he should be ready to go for training camp. I hate to criticize TT because he is one of the best in the business, but this seems like a boneheaded move for the packers. He is only getting 1 year 1.5 million and is way better than any other inside LB in GB. It w...

Re: Wesley Woodyard

No I view him as a number 3 LB in start up leagues but someone I feel comfortable starting each week. He's not elite but he's serviceable. It's not a knock on him. Once you enter a tier of serviceable linebackers, they all start looking the same. If your draft pans out and he ends up being your LB2,...

Re: Wesley Woodyard

I have him ranked LB38 in my rankings. The problem is, Ghost must have missed him so it's throwing the average off. We'll get it fixed.

Re: Trade involving Julio

easy decline for me. I would much rather have Charles and Roddy over Julio and Stewart. The rest of that trade is just filler.

Re: Poll: Sean Lee or Bruce Carter?

I like Carter in the tampa-2... but the choice is easily Lee for me since he's the MLB. Carter is their best sideline to sideline LB IMO and should be the MLB there, but I doubt that happens. Completely agree. Lee is the guy to own. Look at Lavonte David in Tampa Bay, Carter is going to put up thos...

Re: Shawn Williams

Spot on, MR ROURKE. Taylor Mays would have been a beast in the "Seek and Destroy" days of yesteryear. The good ol' days of ESPN airing "Jacked Up". In this two hand touch league for safties, Mays is nothing more than a special teams gunner.

Re: Nicks trade w/IDP

All these guys are right. Look at it this way, Nicks for Hernandez is close to a fair trade straight up. Would you trade Tannehill straight up for a CB? No way. Even the game's greatest CB is a dime a dozen fantasy play. They're the kickers of defense. I would stick with what you have

Re: Shawn Williams

Shawn Williams will be a nice fantasy asset next to Reggie Nelson. Beating out Taylor Mays won't be difficult, he's a one dimensional liability. You should be excited for Williams but the DB supply is plentiful.

Re: anyone else concerned about Charles?

Not everyone is Adrian Peterson. Peterson was built and then rebuilt in the Gatorade lab. That, or he's a Terminator. Charles is unfairly being compared to Peterson for what he is already doing. The majority of people take a while to trust their knee after having it reconstructed. Charles felt some ...

Re: Ridley or CJ.5k

Stevan Ridley for sure. He's younger and he plays on a better offense. If they're similar in talent, let age break the tie.
