Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
Gave: 2026 1st & 2026 3rd Got: Kenneth Walker III, Wan'Dale Robinson, 3.02, & 4.12 The 1st is the heavy favorite to be 1.01 but its two years out and a lot can happen. Gives me 3 young RBs and 3 young WRs to build around. My next move is to trade Nick Chubb to a contender for whatever I can...

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class
Not you (you aren't of the mindset) but this mentality is something I find annoying in fantasy now. We have a whole host of newer players treating dynasty like they've been told to treat the stock market - churn and trade constantly. Doesn't work for 99.999999% of people in the stock market and doe...

Were you watching "Wrexam" the other night KOG? Heard that turn of phrase on an episode. Agreed on preference.killer_of_giants wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 10:20 amrandom thought of the day, but "piss on your chips" is a vastly superior way of saying the same thing, imo.

Re: 2024 Rookie Draft Strategies
Did anyone play back in the TD only days? I didn’t but when i started, PPR wasn’t really a thing yet My first league was like that. I believe it was 1998. When I brought up the idea of including passing, rushing & receiving yards, I was brutally scolded. The commissioner said that our scores wo...

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class
I have 1.02 in my 1QB league, and i'm going Rome Odunze and I think you should too if you're on the fence between Rome and Malik. I feel Rome has a lower risk profile and both a higher ceiling and floor as a WR that can do it all. Here is my comparison of the two... Odunze A true X, and can line up...

Re: All Things Bears
Is there a way to block threads? Or is it just individuals? Asking for a friend. JK by the way. I'm excited for another Bears off-season championship. LOL IDK. THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT. I mean, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then, right? @Wick, time to lose the communist avatar. We ha...

Re: All Things Bears
If the Bears do finally break through and make the playoffs in 2024, can we agree to let this thread die, and just treat them like the other 31 teams in the league?
Just curious.

Retired today. All time leading rusher at the University of Miami, and barely made a dent in the NFL.
I was pulling for him. Just never happened.

Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
Top 8 NFL pick, starting QB in a superflex vs a day 3WR or RB, and a couple of late 4ths that will be UDFA/7th round type players? I think it's a pretty bad offer, maybe not "terrible", but it's "bad" trade offers, not "terrible" trade offers. Yeah, that one qual...

Re: Terms you wish fantasy writers would stop using so often
Depends on what you would consider a "turd" but Nuk wasnt exactly a dominant fantasy producer as a rookie, one could argue Marquise Lee is making moves in that direction. Devante Adams has also flashed but he certainly hasnt become consistently good yet either. Kendall Wright started off ...

Re: Terms you wish fantasy writers would stop using so often
I tried to find a good thread to put this in, and though it's not really something I wish writers would stop using; it is something I wish people would use correctly. See, having "tread on your tires" is a good thing. It means you'll be able to drive on them for a while. In terms of our dy...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
This deal just went down 10tm SF TEP Team A got: Pitts, KWIII, Howell Team B got: LaPorta, Dowdle, 2.09 Anyone with opinions? Even it is perfectly fair I love LaPorta but I couldn't pay that price. KWIII is a borderline RB1 for #12 and still has plenty of dynasty value. Was reading through the thre...

Re: QB Passing Touchdown Length Percentage Analysis
Interesting and makes sense. I want to see Trey Lance's numbers in this study From what I could tell he wouldn't qualify, as he only started and played meaningful games in his sophomore season. So no back-to-back comparisons. His junior year before coming out it appears he only played in one game.

Re: Post Draft top 12 1 QB
I think when push comes to shove and people actually start making picks, the top 2 RBs will go much higher. Especially Brooks. There's just no way a 2nd round RB picked into a situation with a very obvious path to a lead or even feature back role in a draft where there are very few other good RB op...
