Re: Courtland Sutton Outlook?

Ice...all 6 of those players have similarities to Sutton and may be stronger or weaker in other areas than him. You are saying they all have higher upside, but that's because they are the new shiny toy, nothing more. I mean your comments about Sutton's arm length and speed are ridiculous when he is ...

Re: Courtland Sutton Outlook?

I got him at the beginning of the second. I’m not selling him at all costs. But I might put feelers out there to see what I can get. Just curious what people are thinking he is worth. If you got him in the 2nd, then you aren't heavily invested, so you can look at it one of two ways. You can either ...

Re: Sacrifice my future for win Now?

Love the thought process to go get a veteran player to help you win now. You're in a good spot where you can make a deal like this and still win down the line. Thanks Man, most of it comes from talking to all of you guys, and being strong in decision making (although that sometimes backfires). Seem...

Re: Sacrifice my future for win Now?

Do the deal, don't play scared!! The goal is to win, not have a sexy roster. One can easily argue that Jones/TY are equivalent to the picks in the deal...in a shallow league, I am not sure Kirk is ever going to be a locked in starter and Pettis is similar. These guys are replaceable...DO THE DEAL!!!

Re: Courtland Sutton Outlook?

I’m thinking about selling him if the right offer comes along. What would you guys be targeting in return for him? All depends on what it cost to get him? I mean if you were lucky to grab him in the 2nd last year (he slipped in several drafts) and want to take him for a small profit then I think it...

Re: Courtland Sutton Outlook?

Just curious what everyone feels Sutton’s prospects are for this year? As an owner I was honestly a little disappointed by his rookie season ( not stats, but just watching him.) What do you all think? What would you value him as? Did you happen to take stock of the loser on the other end throwing t...

So here’s the trade:

Sutton

For
1.12
2020 2nd

Am I selling too low? Idk not super high right now on Sutton
Well where did you draft him? Are you selling at a loss or a gain? Personally, I think that offer is awful for Sutton, but that's me.

Re: Kupp Value in Picks?

WOW!

Great feedback guys...some pretty strong opinions both ways! I declined the offer because my team lacks so much depth, but we will revisit I think...great conversation around a polarizing player though.

Kupp Value in Picks?

If you were buying Kupp with a 2019 1st, what's the highest pick you would offer? Kupp owner approached me looking for 1.02 and 1.10. The 1.02 I got in trade, and my team is decent, but lacks depth...although I do have 4 2nds as well. Key players: Ryan, Rivers Chubb, Cohen Nuk, Alshon, Mike Williams...

Re: Sutton vs 7 Item Package

zay looks good , all those picks are worth more than sutton. i like the package. Errrr, what? 56/652/7 is good? Zay would need a major step forward in his 3rd year to show he is roster-worthy in this league format. When are you starting him with any confidence? Is he going to be the #1 in Buffalo? ...

Re: Sutton vs 7 Item Package

I decided to take this revised offer: Give: Callaway, Zay Jones, 2019 2.09, 3.09, 2020 2nd Get: Sutton I just think that in a 10 team league with such thin starting requirements, I'm not going to start Callaway or Zay Jones in any circumstances like some people have said. I already had Hill, OBJ, L...

Re: Sutton vs 7 Item Package

Too much for a guy that is a big question mark still. I'm sure you could use all the pieces to just move higher into the draft and grab someone else Huh? Who are you moving up into the draft with that package to take that is better/less of a risk than Sutton? I would snap accept this trade because ...

Re: Cross-league Hedging

I kind of like to treat my rosters as investment portfolios. If I find that I am overweighted on a certain player, I may look to move him in a league for a player that I might not have any shares invested. Similar approach, but I have not yet gone down the road of trying your strategy. Really comple...
