Re: Crazy Gordon trade

Veto for collusion, not imbalance trade. Gordon could be the WR1 for 5+ years, Peyton could retire at the end of the year and JT dwindles with a new QB, and Rodgers is great but a QB. You never know. I'd sell Gordon for that for sure, but not vetoable.

Re: Mike Zimmer rant.

Just wanted to say this too, when a 29 year old RB and a 31 year old receiver are 2 of the top 4 cap hits on your team, you are clearly doing something wrong. Well the 29 year old RB is a Hall of Famer who has been the best RB since he entered the league. I agree old RBs don't deserve a lot of mone...

Re: Mike Zimmer rant.

Is it a sign of what zimmer inherited or is this a sign he has lost the team already? Let's take a step back before making ridiculous statements. This is who Zimmer is. He says things most coaches don't because he doesn't give a bleep. You think every losing coach is not thinking the same things? G...

Re: Get Brian Quick Now

Does anyone have a counter argument to Shottenheimer being a terrible offensive coordinator? My counter argument is he's the worst coordinator in the league, so technically I'm arguing he's worse than terrible. Still like Quick, but his tough schedule and shaky offense will limit his numbers in the...

Re: Tavon Austin, where are we now?

I chose him based on his potential of being a poor man's Harvin/Cobb (less power but a little more speed). Thought he could produce more rookie season in Amendola's vacated role and expand in the future. Here are all three of their rookie seasons: Harvin 15 games, 60/790/6 receiving, 15/135/0 rushin...

Re: Why I kinda hate Rotoworld...

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 36-of-58 throws for 402 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in Tennessee's Week 15 overtime loss to Arizona. Fitzpatrick surprisingly picked apart a Cardinals defense that failed to generate consistent heat, throwing touchdown passes to Chris Johnson, Delanie Wa...

Re: How to Stop Tanking in Dynasty Leagues?

Let me make sure I understand how "potential points" can dictate the order of the upcoming rookie draft. Of the teams who don't make the playoffs, does the team with the lowest potential points get the number one draft pick? Yes, it's only for non-playoff teams (playoff teams are reverse ...

Re: How to Stop Tanking in Dynasty Leagues?

A couple of options, I think most have been mentioned but I will still list them: 1) Base the draft position of teams that miss playoffs by potential points. It ensures that regardless of what lineup they set, their draft position is based on how well their team could have scored. I would really li...

Re: Brandon Bostick

Fontenot compared Bostick's physical talents to Denver tight end Julius Thomas, who played basketball at Portland State for three years before giving football a try. It has taken Thomas two years to get on the field, but in his third season he has 45 catches for 590 yards and 10 touchdowns. Coming ...

Re: Justin Hunter

Hope he's not a "Jon Baldwin" Well he's not an idiot and he hasn't tried to fight Chris Johnson, so I don't really see the comparison there, other than "big athletic guy that never lived up to the hype". Too early for Hunter. Won't see it this year with Locker out. Will have to ...

Well he's also been cut by two teams, just this season, so I'm not ready to anoint Rainey yet.

Re: Really need help determining playoff seeds... tiebreaker

I wouldn't change the official way unless it was a completely obvious error, which this is not. When in doubt, you stick to what the official website rulings are. You can't change midseason. Second, this is another reason why I like points as first tiebreaker. H2H just meant they got lucky that day....
