Re: How make a serious offer for CMC?

I honestly can't believe how tolerant everyone has been of OP's BS. Credit to the community. And I'm not entirely sure that OP isn't a troll, but, if so, you got me OP. OP, all of the answers you need are already in this thread, but I'll hit some highlights: Get over yourself; Sell high, and buy low...

Re: League expanding, need to protect 10 players

I wouldn't consider ditching Hopkins or Evans unless you're forced to by the budget. Yeah, I don't want to lose those guys, but they are expensive. I was thinking that leaving one of them unprotected might make sense because 1) maybe they won't be taken based on their price and 2) even if they are ...

League expanding, need to protect 10 players

Team 3 is expanding from 8 to 10 teams. I need to protect 10 players. 3 players from each team will be taken. It's a salary cap league ($72m) and I'm right up against the cap. I'd like some room to buy some free agents, as there are some good ones available. Also, we can franchise tag up to 3 player...

Re: What to offer for Martin and Brate

...im not sure that pushes you over the top anyways. I think this would probably secure me a first round bye. This league has 2 divisions, with division winners getting a bye. My division is pretty weak this year -- I have a 2 game lead over the 2nd place team currently. There is one team in this l...

What to offer for Martin and Brate

This is for team 1. The owner of Doug Martin and Cameron Brate asked if I'd be interested in trading for them since he is out of contention, and I could really use some immediate help at RB and TE. What would be a fair offer? My 1st rounder will likely be late (probably 7-10). I also have 2 2nd roun...

Re: Robert Davis

Josh Reynolds went in the first round (1.09) of a recent draft I did (LOL). With that being said, I wouldn't bother picking him up off of waivers. I'd add Jones before any of the others. I like Davis, but he is probably a ways from producing with all of the other options in Washington. He's on my wa...

Re: Njoku for Abdullah?

Thanks for all the input, guys. Like a lot of you have suggested, I would really prefer a better RB than Abdullah, even if it means packaging 2 or more players to get it done. Unfortunately, a lot of the better RBs are concentrated on a couple of teams, so the rest of the league is reluctant to part...

Njoku for Abdullah?

This is for team 1.

Would you give Njoku for Abdullah?

I like Njoku quite a bit, but I'm already pretty set at TE (although I could start up to 3 TEs).

Conversely, I need RBs, but I'm pretty concerned about Abdullah's injury history.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: What can I reasonably get in return for Melvin Gordon?

I traded Gordon for Kelvin Benjamin, Mariota, and a mid 2017 1st on Saturday. Based on Gordon's big game on Sunday, I probably could have gotten even more from the guy if I'd have waited...

Should I offer Julio for this?

This is for team 2 in my signature. I've been thinking of trading away one of my receivers in order to build depth at other positions. Obviously, Julio has the highest value right now. I am trying to decide whether to send the following offer: Give: Julio Get: Rawls, Moncrief, Kelce, K Williams, 1.0...

Re: Ever make a trade to save the league?

Short answer: No, don't EVER make a trade "to save the league." Long answer: In one of my leagues, this has come up. I've been accused of fleecing less knowledgeable owners in trades. Further, people have complained that my team is "too good," and that it threatened to ruin the l...

Re: Veto worthy?

I don't think it is THAT bad. It's bad, but I have seen far worse. It's certainly not veto worthy; It's been said a thousand times on this forum, unless it is clearly collusion, no trade should ever be vetoed.

Re: Do you make a trade even if short on rbs?

1) If the trade is close to fair value or slightly in your favor, I would side with not making a trade which would hurt your depth at a position of need. If the trade is heavily in your favor value-wise, I would make the trade and not worry about losing depth at a position of need. 2) I would give u...
