Re: Keep both, drop 1, or drop both...

I decided to drop both. We will see what happens in FA auction. Wouldn't be shocked if I can snag one or both for cheaper.

Re: Keep both, drop 1, or drop both...

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I won't know who else is available until after i submit my claims and most of the top RBs are locked up under contract.

I like the idea of dropping and trying to pick up cheap. Solid idea.

Keep both, drop 1, or drop both...

Need to decide by early next week. Current RB situation is: JCharles, TRich, JStew. Have option of activating or cutting Ryan Williams and Bilal Powell. Costs are as follows: Ryan Williams activate = $15.50 Ryan Williams drop = $2.50 Bilal Powell activate = $9.50 Bilal Powell drop = $1.50 Current sa...

Re: My first salary league - advice, thought?

Are you a Browns fan by chance? Hardesty, MoMass, the entire stable of TE's, and TJ Ward? I love it. Plus, you HAD to lose a bet to roster Pat Shurmer.... In all honesty, I don't know much about IDP or how punters and coaching scoring works... but rostering Rodgers and Cam in a 2QB league has to put...

Re: Trade Offer

Are you able to taxi squad Hillman? If not, the 2 year deal does not appeal to me, as I don't anticipate much from him this season. To me, the 3rd round pick is a throw away so it boils down to your preference of JStew vs Ingram. As a JStew owner, I probably would pass... especially if there is no t...

Re: Hardesty - Are u handcuffing TR

I haven't seen anything from Hardesty over the past 2 season's that have made him a "must handcuff". He seems brittle, and when he is in there I haven't been impressed with his production. With that said, I have him rostered from a previous season and drafted TRich at 1.1. Take that for what it's wo...

Re: Chris Johnson possible trade

I am trying to work a trade for Chris Johnson in my SC dynasty league. I am proposing sending J Best 10, 12 and R Meachem 8, 7.5 (both have favorable RFA status after their contracts are over) for Chris Johnson RB Ten 20,20 (no RFA after the contract is over) I am pretty sure I will need to add som...

Help grade my rookie draft.

Grade this draft please. Had picks 1.1, 1.4, 1.7, 1.8, 2.16. Moved 1.8 for 2.2 and 2013 1rst. Obviously with 3 picks in the top 7, good players were had. I'm more interested in you guys grading this draft based on both value of BPA as well as addressing team need for team 1 in sig. Ended with: 1.1- ...

Re: Shady trade:

*Update*

Couldn't come to terms on the deal for McCoy so I kept the picks. Turned into:

1.4- Andrew Luck
1.7- Michael Floyd
1.8- Traded for 2.2 and 2013 1rst rounder

Not sure it was the right play, but happy with the selections.

Re: Shady trade:

I'd take that. Trade J.Charles for a WR. Can you trade a franchised player? What about using the 1.07 or 1.08 to move up from 1.04 to 1.03 and to ensure you can draft Luck or RG3? If you can't and the QBs look like they will go before 1.04 then do the Shady deal. Yes, you can move a franchise playe...

Re: Shady trade:

On the surface, I like the Deal. Any trade to get Shady that doesn't cripple your team is a good one. However, your WR corp is very weak and Cutler is Cutler. Basically the trade is JStew, Luck, K. Wright for Shady. Tough call. I'm still a JStew believer and his contract is good. Cutler is OK and s...

Shady trade:

Team 1 in sig. I give: JStew ($10, 3 years) Pick 1.4 ($14, 4 years) Pick 1.8 ($13, 4 years) I get: Shady McCoy ($18.50, 2 years) Background: All contracts increase 10% year over year Took TRich at 1.1 Also hold 1.7 ($13, 4) years, so assuming 4 picks in the top 8 could bust my cap down the road. 1.2...

Re: Austin for Blackmon

For me, that's a coin flip. I think it depends on how much of a risk taker you are. Pairing AJ, Julio and Blackmon for a total of $6 more than Austin costs alone sounds fantastic IF Blackmon produces. If not, you traded away a 27 year old WR1 for a sack of magic "rookie" beans. What would be the pen...

Thanks for the input fellas. Tried to sweeten the deal but we can't see eye to eye so I scrapped it.
