The TEP makes Bowers the clear top choice. I'd lean Nico over Flowers after that.

Nah. The biggest reason to do this is the upgrade to McBride and in this format I don't care enough about TE to do it. I'd rather ride Njoku until Hock is healthy. TE is one out of 10 spots in this league. Not that important.

I'd make the deal and take Caleb and then BPA w/ the 1.05. Probably Odunze but there will be leagues where Nabers falls to 1.05. All it takes is a team at 1.04 who is desperate for a QB.

I don't really like either of these ideas. You have enough horses to start the season and see if you're a contender. I'd wait until in-season to make a move.

Agreed. Although I'm not entirely surprised Odunze is there at 1.07 in 0.5 PPR.

You don't mention line up requirements, but I'm assuming since it's 8-team that studs rule. I'd do the deal.

You're taking on a lot of risk making this trade now. Chubb's health on top of the inherent risk in trading for RBs during the non-playing season. If you do it, you need to get a discount.

Maybe offer the combo of Mingo/3rd. Gives him two dart throws instead of the injured/old RB.

If Bowers isn't gone, he should at least be in consideration given the TEP.

Not an overpay IMO. Although Gibbs is worth a bit less than MHJR, Brooks makes up the difference. Fair trade both ways - comes down to team need and whether or not the team receiving the RBs can contend. Seems like your team is ready to make a run. So all good.
