Re: Lions fire Patricia and GM

Thread started about Lions, then proceeds to be nothing but about the Jets.

I’m hoping this winds up being better for Swift in the long run. Them playing AD was silly.

Re: Full Team Explosion, Draft, Trades, and Direction

Lots of injuries this year but sitting in 5th out of 16. Burrow, Bosa, Bush, Campbell are this big ones but tons off and on. Sent a 21 3rd for Jordan Hicks. 21 2nd for Joey Bosa. Once at full strength (hopefully next year) should be a strong team. My 1st won’t be as high as I was hoping for to land ...

Re: Jakobi Meyers

I had him all last year hoping for him to shine, but he was buried so far on that depth chart he never got the chance. He's worth a flyer, but I wouldn't be shocked if next week Cam throws 14 for 30 and 129 yards. This. I've been holding him in a large roster league since last preseason. He looks s...

Re: Kwon Alexander

I'll just hop on this one rather than creating a new thread:

What do we think about Kwon in NO? Sounds like they want him to compete for WLB, which could be better for him. Same ole same ole with him? Enjoy the points until he gets hurt? Will he flourish there like TB?

For me, Diontae Johnson looks like a Stefon Diggs clone (Diggs himself is basically 85-90% of what AB was as a player in his prime)
Not to argue the point, comps are never perfect, but I thought Diggs was a far better athlete than all of Sanders, AB, and Johnson? Or am I remembering that wrong?

Re: Diontae Johnson is...... maybe really really good?

Fun fact: AB - 5’10” 185 lbs Arms - 31; hands - 9 DJ - 5’10” 183 lbs Arms - 30 3/4; hands - 9 CLEARLY he is the next AB. I know this was tongue in cheek, but these aren’t the only #s that are nearly identical. https://i2.wp.com/steelersnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/AB-DJ-measureables.png?w=668...

Re: Diontae Johnson is...... maybe really really good?

Prior to this year, he had not missed a game. He did have a sports hernia that he played through during 2019 though. So far this year he's had mostly minors issues, with a concussion in week 3 (his first I know of) followed by the back bruise in week 5, and now the ankle bruise at the end of week 7...

Re: Jonathan Taylor is your 1.01 now.

Wow Draft Capital Film Study Analytics ALL MATTER Everyone will research a bit differently. Only the fools believe there is one system. Don’t be the fools! My take is Taylor is a slightly above average RB today. He could develop into a fine RB but today he is a rookie finding his way and learning t...

Re: Full Team Explosion, Draft, Trades, and Direction

So largely the team remains the same. I added Tonyan via waivers and it’s TE premium. Been hit with 9 IRs so far - Bosa and Campbell being the ones that hurt the lost. However, my rookie WRs are performing quite well. Still feels I’m short on RBs and could use a 3rd QB in this 16 team 2 start. But t...

Re: Jerry Jeudy Official Thread

Jeudy reminds me of a way more athletic version of KA. I think folks will regret dropping him down or passing on him. RBs and scarcity aside, no one should be down on him. The dude was a stud from day 1. I’m not sure where the notion that he can’t defeat press is coming from, because his footwork i...

Re: Jacksonville backfield, who is the guy?

I drafted Laviska thinking with the expectation he'd get some rushing when the rumblings started about Fournette way earlier. This is more opportunity than I expected. Add Laviska to the options! :D Per media rules, I cannot comment on specific plays / formations, re: #Jaguars But uh... let’s just ...

Re: Jacksonville backfield, who is the guy?

Don't get too excited. Very few WRs getting carries work out. I took a stab with Shenault and him getting carries isn't even a factor. Oh, that was only half serious. But he has probably the best athletic profile and size of their options. He's not going to lead them, hell, that could very well be ...
