Have you ever heard of a NFL team trading away a player that they had tagged as their franchise guy?
Is it possible for a NFL team to have 2 franchise guy's on their roster, by declaring one and then getting one in via trade like what I mentioned ?

A lot of players have been franchise tagged and then traded away. Matt Cassel by NE (to KC), Jared Allen by KC (to MIN), Corey Williams by GB (to CLE), John Abraham by NYJ (to ATL), Peerless Price by BUF (to ATL) are all examples.
I've never seen a rule against the scenario you listed so I'm fairly certain it could happen.
