Contend or Rebuild?

Just took over a Superflex PPR orphan team. (Team 2 in sig)

Do you guys think I could contend this year? Or should I do a complete rebuild?

You could probably contend but it never hurts to try and make your team better.

I see 5 or 6 guys who are your main starters, however they are also nearing the end of their shelf life. I would probably go into rebuild mode and sell off those assests.

Foster - AP - Edelman - Daniels.

Problem is that this time of year, you really can't maximize value out of the older producers. Everyone has rookie fever, and so Foster isn't going to bring in much. I would wait until the year starts and begin the transition to rebuild mode. Keep anyone young who you feel has value or upside.

There's a decent chance if you don't change much, you will probably have a decent year if some of your WR's improve and produce and AP plays somewhere!

But I don't see a lot of longterm assets here....

Probably a rebuild, but you really don't want to sell your aging assets right now. You won't get max value out of them.

So I think you just wait and see how the season starts, then sell your older pieces if you're not contending. 2015 picks are too coveted right now. When the season gets going, you'll have a better chance of getting 2016 picks.
