Duke Ihenacho

Postby matelin » Fri Sep 06, 2013 6:18 am

What's your take on the new SS for the Denver Broncos, Is he here to stay or will he be a flash in the pan?

Me personally, he has shown aggression and speed to the ball just excited to have picked him up in most all of my IDP leagues.

He looked legit to me. Only negative I saw was the defensive holding call he got for grabbing Torrey Smith over the middle.

He was all over the place in the game, looked like a stud in the making to me. But the real question is if that was a showing of his potential? Or was it because he was playing against Ravens offense that lacked any diversity. Definitely worth a dice roll to see how he shakes out.

He was already playing lights out throughout the offseason and training camp practices and soundly beat out his competition for the starting job. Thus I got a decent starter for free for 2 of my rebuilding teams, and don't expect him to fade. But as with any IDP, you can't count on the same production every week either.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

He beat out a legitament veteran ss in adams this preseason. I think its his job to lose. Hard to argue with his production.

Would you cut Weddle or Barron for him?

I would not drop Weddle for him. Barron would be a possibility, but I would want to see more from the Nacho Man first.

I just grabbed him. Only had to drop Rahim Moore, who was a fringe DB anyway. Happy with the move. Liked what I saw from Duke. Not a bad stat line.
