Aaron Hernandez offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Aaron Hernandez offer

Postby jmbraun54 » Wed Feb 13, 2013 10:47 am

This is for team 2 in my sig.

I give Hernandez and Pead

I get Mendenhall, Fleener, Foles, 1.10, and 2.10

I am in rebuild mode and I don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick this year so that kind of pushes me to accept but I would like to hear some other thoughts on the trade. Depending on where Mendy ends up I think he could help out my team a lot. actually the biggest hang up for me is giving up Pead. I have DRich also so if SJax leaves i have that backfield locked up if I keep him.

Thanks for the imput.

I understand wanting to upgrade you team, but it looks like you are giving away a proven piece fora bunch of questions marks. I'd want a better offer for Hernandez.

Hernandez and Pead are great pieces for a rebuilding team. Just gotta pick up Daryl Richardson just in case.

But it's not a bad offer, just depends on how much you trust your drafting ability.

I wouldnt do this deal. Hernandez has a lot more value than what you are getting back. Pead i dont really care about because i think Richardson will be the primary back in STL.

Try and get more for Hernandez like someone loaded at WR who does not have a TE. Then ask for his younger WR. Maybe like Blackmon and a 2nd.

I think Hernandez is vastly overrated and I still wouldn't do it. Mostly because you can get a lot more if you're wanting to trade him

I rejected it, I just didn't feel good about what I was getting. The picks were nice but that was it. I'll hold onto what I have until something else comes along.

When you say he's overrated, do you mean because he's a health concern? Because there's no denying he's a special player when he's on the field.
