I feel Lacy or Gio are the most talented RBs in the class and would take the one that lands in the best situation. My hope is Lacy goes to the Steelers in the mid-2nd.

Without the injuries, people would be falling all over themselves to get the 1.01 to take Latti. The questions would be about who the better prospect was, he or Trich. Obviously you can't take away the injuries, but woth today's modern medicine and his work ethic, I am not concerned. His knee injury, although severe, was not nearly as bad as it looked. The operation was completed quickly & Dr. James Andrews has already stated that Lattimore's recovery is "nothing short of a miracle." Latti is aiming for a week one return, & while I don't want to doubt him, I think a trip to the PUP will be needed.

I am a looking to build the best team I can, so I'm most interested in getting the player I deem to have the highest upside. I think 2013 will be a slow year and will be more about Latti getting back up to speed than about him putting up huge numbers. However, in 2014 I wouldn't be the least surprised to see Latti finish as a RB1.

Surprised to again see Allen on the board at 3 and again a no-brainer selection here. I considered somebody else still on the board but decided that Allen was a safer bet which I tend to lean to early in drafts. I think Allen is being underrated by some people because he's not as gifted as an A.J. Green or Julio Jones type of receiver coming out but he is still a quality prospect that will be a productive pro.
