Hernandez vs. Welker

With the news of Hernandez's contract extention in NE, how does that effect his value, as it compares to Welker? I think the extension all but guarantees that Welker is done in NE, and I don't know how much I like Welker outside of NE.

I am being offered Welker for Hernandez and a 3rd round 2013 pick. At this point, I don't know if I really want to trade them straight up, nevermind the pick. It sounds rediculous- Welker should have far more value than Hernandez, but I am wondering if Hernandez is going to be Brady's new security blanket this year. And what kind of value does Welker have outside of NE? Thoughts? Am I just overvaluing my own player?

Without seeing your roster I wouldn't make the deal on value alone. I'd be hesitant to move AH for Welker straight up, but I'm not a huge fan of Welkers future, I'm sure others will disagree.

If you have a roster that warrants the addition of a WR and you have quality TE depth, then this needs reconsideration...
