@abc7newsBayArea #BREAKING: Former Cal Bear and current NFL #Seattle #Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was arrested in Oakland over the weekend for DUI.
Now this is a suspend able offense. He's already been suspended from his day at buffalo iirc

This is where everyone who said it would be a mistake to pay Lynch pops in and says "told you so!"

EDIT: Incidentally, I think Leon Washington will be the back to own during a potential 2-game suspension (for example), rather than Turbin. Can play all three downs, knows the blocking scheme well, explosive, and can handle a full workload for a short time. Curious to see what others think.

wasnt he already suspended for 2 game, doesnt it move upto the 4-6 game range after that, goodell doesnt seam to be the kinda guy who will give him 2 2-game punishments, got to be headed the wrong way for all the lynch owners, glad i sold him this offseaon in the only league i had him in

his last incident was in 2008 or 9 i believe. gotta think goodell considers that when you look at guys like dez, who haven't been able to stay out of the tabloids a single off season....im saying 2 games

He was suspended 3 games in 2009 for gun-related charges. I'd expect a minimum of 4 games.

I hate when top 10 ranked rbs that I don't like get in trouble during offseason! Brings their ADP down and might bump up a players ADP I want! Thanks for representing the Seahawks Lynch. Hope Turbin takes over.

Nice, I only own Marshawn Lynch in ONE league and I traded for him a few weeks ago. I was right smack in the middle of negotiations to turn him into Chris Johnson or Demarco Murray but nothing had been finalized until I woke up this morning and got a bunch of rejected offers :wall:  Guess I should be happy I have Turbin, but I don't know why this seems like he could get more then 4 games.

Unlike Dez, Lynch should get suspended. I expect 4 games.

M.Lynch's value may have offically reached it's peak and now began to fall. I'm not sure we'll ever see M.Lynch having the value he had in the last month again in FF. He's going to get a decent suspension for his third strike (gun charges, running women down in crosswalk, and now DWI). Lynch is still making mistakes and will forever hold the huge cloud of a future offense getting most of a seaosn or even a season suspension.

Hmm, after further digging, I'm not so sure a suspension is in order. I put out a bunch of info via twitter, but this is Lynch's first DUI, which falls under the substance abuse policy. 1st offense is a fine, with further incidents resulting in possible suspension. http://bit.ly/LWdQjr

I think there's a chance he skates on this, plus there's still the chance the charges are dropped, ala Michael Bush, Cedric Benson, Hines Ward, among others.

After getting burned in the past by guys like Burress and Vick I've intentionally avoided players, whenever possible, who have run ins with the law. It seens to be a continuing problem with most of these guys and they don't smarten up. I don't want to be the guy who relies on a guy like Lynch when there's a massive risk he gets a big suspension.

I have a similar philosophy. For example, I think Fred Davis is in a position to challenge for a top-5 TE spot this year. However, I won't touch him for anywhere near that value because he's one joint away from a year-long suspension.

For all his owners, should he go definitly on the trading block ? I put him on, just to see what everyone can offer. But except CJ2K and maybe Leshoure i've nothing great on my roster at this position.

When news like this comes out, that is the worst time to put a player on the block. It's ok to see what offers you get, but I wouldn't expect reasonable value right now.
