Ben Tate now and tomorrow
If Foster gets injured, he's a top 10 RB in dynasty, and he has starter potential il he's traded, can't say the same thing about Hunter

I'd go Hunter. His path to being a starter looks clearer to me.

Also, I think Tate (and Foster) benefit from running behind an excellent offensive line in a RB friend zone blocking/one-cut scheme. I'm not saying Tate is w/o talent. I'm saying his strengths fit really well in Houston. I do agree that a Foster injury would vault him up in value (much like F.Jax did for Spiller last year).

Tate for me...the problem with him is the whole sitti
ng behind foster....unless he is traded, he will be 26 by the time he is a free agent

I am a Hunter owner, however I would love to own either of these guys. That said if I had to make a choice I would chose Hunter. I agree that his path to starting is clearer due to Gore beginning to decline vs. Foster who is young and one of the top backs in fantasy now. I feel Hunter's ceiling is a L. McCoy type player.

Mmm... if Tate were a year or two closer to hitting the FA market, I'd say him by a mile. But with Gore getting up in years, and the foundation for the 49ers set for several years to come, I have to say Hunter here. If you can wait for Tate to break out, then by all means do so. But if you need production sooner rather than later, Hunter is the choice.

I like Tate a LOT. He may be an OK bye week fill in and will be a top 6 RB if Foster goes down.

If I was in a situation with a solid team I would take Tate. If my team is a little weaker and I do not mind taking short cuts and gambling then I go with Hunter.

Simple vote for me...Tate! I like Hunter but I just think Tate is the better player from what I've seen.

I dont think we have seen enough of Hunter. I am hoping that we see plenty of Kendall this year in order to make a more informed decision.
Supposedly..SUPPOSEDLY..Hunter was maybe the best RB to come out last year.
We shall see.

With Gore's injury situation, and Hunter's talent..hopefully we see more of Hunter this year.

As a Foster owner, I hope Tate gets limited carries this year :) But yes, he was pretty amazing. Is it talent or situation though?

I think it is more situation with Foster than it is with Tate. I think Tate would do better than Foster if he moved to a different team.
