Is that a dynasty draft? Looks awfully redraft-ish (Brady/Peyton before Newton/Stafford/RG3, Foster before Trich/Calvin/AJG/Julio, Gore early 4th, Wes Welker nearly three rounds before Hakeem Nicks/Wallace/Tavon/Le'Veon... etc)

Yes, it was a dynasty draft. The group has a lot of experience in 2qb leagues, but no one had ever done a dynasty league before (myself included). I think I probably ended up with too much emphasis on younger, "unproven" talent, but that was what seemed to keep falling to me (my team is "Team Bond" - grabbing newton in round 1 and T-Rich in round 2).

I thought this would be of interest because there is not a lot of info available on startup 2qb dynasty drafts.

Your teams draft was actually the only one that stood out to me. Nice job.

You could tell a lot of teams were out of their element and started wasting picks around round 10 or so. A few teams selected their back up kickers before players like Justin Hunter/Broyles/Wheaton/Crabtree/Eifert etc, you got Josh Gordon/Justin Blackmon in the 9th/10th and then Cordarrelle Patterson sandwiched in between Fred Jackson/Brandon Meyers/Malcom Floyd and Justin Forsett/Stephen Gostkowski in the 13th! Wow...... haha.

I have a feeling 3/4's of your league mates will be a year from now once they start to understand how these players are valued in dynasty leagues. DeAndre Hopkins wont be coming off the board five rounds after Anquan Boldin/Seattle D/Martellus Bennett very often lol

what a mess that last one was! yikes.. hope its a money league cause u may be running it for years to come

This is a rookie-only dynasty start-up. We had a 9 round draft, carried out over the past 10 days. The 2013 season will have five starters (OUP, WR/RB, WR/TE, DUP, DUP). Rosters and starters will expand in 2014 and 2015 with the addition of 2014 rookies and 2015 rookies. (FYI, rookies are eligible for three seasons.)
