exactly... im not debating whether or not cassel has value or what it is... im simply debating whether or not there's ever a legitimate reason to want to make a deal NOW with a player who's value in uncertain as opposed to waiting to august to make the deal happen... and whether not there are players who's values could fluctuate in either direction between now and then. substitute cassel in this example for any number of players with less than certain futures but could be worth quite a bit more or not much at all in 8 months from now like peyton manning, jamaal charles, matt flynn, desean jackson etc etc etc.knuckles50 wrote:I find it difficult to imagine how an IR Cassel could have any value at all in a keep 9 format.
