What are owners doing with Rice after the latest news

Hi All, I've been following this with story with quite a lot of interest and the general consensus is to hold take the 4-8 game ban that's incoming and the lad will learn his lesson. No prison and a hefty fine to pay. You hold an elite talent through the rough patch and then once his ban ends his value shoots up.

All that feels different after the latest incident of punching a photographer in a nightclub.

I can't see Andy Reid tolerating Rice much longer. Not to mention we don't know whether he has broken any conditions of his parole.

Is he still a hold or is there now a price point where you think it's time to cut and run.

I was holding for 1.08 in a SF (appreciate thats expensive but I'm betting on talent here) but I feel like that needs to reduce after the latest incident.

I'm expecting 6-8 games when it's all said and done. Holding for now. He's a flex option so it's not making or breaking the roster one way or another.

Also hoping he's not blackballed out of the league, especially since nobody died, no dogs were killed, no women were beaten, and no anthems were sang while kneeling down.

If the latest is true, I expect him to be cut, based on Andy Reid's prior comments that they would stick with him IF he learned his lesson. If this assault incident is true, he's likely going to be done for the season, with both incidents. He deserves to be in jail for the first incident, and there's still that possibility.

Have you drafted yet? IF not, take a 2nd. THere's day 2 WR's and round 1 QB's going in the 2nd round. I'd take that and hit reset all day.

It's fine to sell anyone at any time for the price you are looking for. We are likely approaching the low point of his value, so take that as you will. There's nothing but speculation right now, and even once a suspension is announced, it provides clarity into the situation.

Personally, there are two WRs and a RB that have been available in the 2nd that I'd have over Rice regardless of the situation. So if I could get them, I'd gladly do it. Otherwise I'd hold and sell later when some hype builds around his return (which could be as soon as week 1 if the legal stuff takes as long as it usually does).

Hold. Never sell low after some news unless someone was killed. That sounds awful, it is awful, but the NFL doesn’t take much seriously beyond gambling and killing people, then again, Ray Lewis…
