I think the pivot is from what will be a glut of them after the draft.

With Stroud in tow, I still see an upgrade with L. Jackson due to the rushing floor. I don’t mind swapping Spears for Cook, but I feel you should try to draft Davis on the cheap if you make this move.

That's where I'm at on London as well. The upside for London is high, but he's a down year away from being Jerry Jeudy 2.0 where he holds value for years despite not really contributing but eventually the community runs out of patience.

There's truth in this and the exact same applies to K.Pitts. 2024 is the dictionary definition of a "prove it" year for both of them. Even if Cousins starts slow (or misses a couple of games) we will get enough of him to know what we've got in London/Pitts. I'm very optimistic but recognize that it's just hope.

You can offer it but it probably gets declined, unless the other guy is a Titans or Spears homer; you're overvaluing Spears in all these trades.

Not in a 1QB. You already have Stroud at QB and plenty of quality RBs.

Honest question, why do you want to move Smith and Spears so much? I didn’t like giving them up for London, but I figured it was a “get your guy” thing. Now it seems like you just really want to pivot off of Smith and Spears so I’m curious if you know something about them I don’t.

I ended up not moving either, but to answer your question...I know what Smith's ceiling is with AJB there. I don't know what London's is and I am willing to bet it's higher than what we've seen from Smith. I could be wrong, very wrong. I just don't see a path to WR1 production from Smith for the next 3 years, so if I could have gotten a WR that is 3 years younger before a potential boom in cost to acquire, I would have.
