abloom wrote: Sat Apr 27, 2024 5:12 am After the first three rounds here are my round grades for SF. I think more in terms of 14 team SF because that's the format of my true dynasty leagues. In this case the round grades won't really change but in a 12 teamer all QBs with the exception of Caleb can be moved down 1-3 places. While I did put this in rough order that I would draft in, I'm mainly assigning value in terms of round value. I would still have all 6 first round QBs at a first round value. A first rounder is someone that I believe I will be able to put in the starting lineup (non-flex position) without concerns in the next couple years. A second rounder is someone that (1) I'm hoping I can flip for a first eventually or (2) can be a consideration for flex spot.

As of right now only 28 position players have been.drafted and of course I managed to have 14 first round grades and 14 seconds lol. A bunch of rbs taken today (day 3 of draft) and wrs taken early today (day 3) will likely find their way to 2nd round grades as well.

As a note: not all first rounders are created equal.

First rounders: (14)
Caleb
Maye
Daniels
MHJ
Nabors
McCarthy
Odunze
Penix
Brooks
Bowers
Worthy
Nix
Brian Thomas
Coleman

Second rounders: (14)
Pearsaw
Legette
McConkey
Benson
Wilson
Polk
Corum
Corely
Burton
AD Mitchell
Lloyd
McMillin
Reimen
LMC

Biggest risers were definitely penix and nix. LMC getting day 2 capital really helped him too.

AD Mitchell also was a *riser for me. Hearing the rumors about his reluctance to monitor his diabetes had me very concerned. He went from a borderline round 1 draft grade to undraftable. Had he slipped into the third round he'd likely still be undraftable to me. Getting 2nd round capital to a team that needs some more offensive pieces bumped his value to me up to a mid to late 2nd.

Shout to Roman Wilson. I can't say that he's a riser because I had him as a possible late first early second depending on draft capital. Falling to the third would have bumped him down... If he was drafted by any team other than the Steelers. But the Steelers manage to evaluate wr talent really well in the second and third.
You leave Franklin out because he isn’t drafted yet or because you really think he is #25 or more on your big board?
Only ranking drafted players so far. And again while I'm organizing them in rough draft order, this is really far more fluid and assigning round capital to rookies. There will be a bunch more second rounders today.

Franklin was on my DND list even before he started falling in the NFL draft. This only confirms my predraft gut feel on him

Anyone have a top 6-7 in PPR 1QB?

Something like

MHJ
Nabers
Odunze
Caleb
Bowers/Thomas
...no idea? Is Brooks up here, is Carolina a decent enough spot?

seems about right? I pick 5th. I've always assumed I'd go with Caleb or Bowers, whoever doesn't go 4. Don't know if anything has changed that.

Caleb

Unless it’s a 14+ team league then I bump Caleb up 2 spots

Forgot to include Brooks in there, but I’m not big on the situation he landed in but he’d be at the bottom of my list

Take my post and move Caleb to mid first, Daniels and Maye to mid second, McCarthy to late second early third, and the other two to the late third

Franklin is a very loud faller. Also JT Sanders. Franklin was projected first round at times and Sanders was projected second earlier in the process. Also, seems like the NFL rejected any hype on Rattler.

I would recommend moving Keon Coleman way up the WR draft board. I would now rank him WR3 in this draft with upside. Perfect type WR for Allen. He will easily be their WR1 sooner than later.

Coleman definitely moves up the board…but he’d be my WR5

Upgraded Gabe Davis. I can't put him over Odunze though, even though I wish their landing spots were swapped.

Early WR tiers
MHJ Nabers Rome
BTJ Ladd
Keon Pearsall Worthy Polk
Legette AD

Think Persall will jump up if/when they trade a WR. The 3rd round guys are somewhat intriguing but probably more role players than anything

Lots of projecting for Coleman. Could be Allen's new favorite #1 weapon or could just be another guy in the offense. Feels like he will still go before I'm willing to take him in most leagues

My 1st stab at 1QB:

1.01: Harrison Jr.
1.02: Nabers
1.03: Odunze
1.04: Bowers
1.05: Worthy
1.06: McConkey
1.07: Thomas Jr.
1.08: Pearsall
1.09: Coleman
1.10: Brooks
1.11: C. Williams
1.12: Mitchell

Next 4: Benson, Daniels, Polk, Legette,

(not my personal rankings, but just how I think it could go)

Sort of underwhelming. It's rough when only one RB cracks the top-12 in 1QB.

It's gross. This is a Superflex draft, no doubt.

Foodie. Mild sauce goes in the trash. Well done steak goes with it.

Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".
