1.07 for Etienne?

For team in signature.

So I have no desire to contend this season nor did I care to even carry any RBs unless one of the rookies land in a nice spot maybe, but I did receive this offer of Etienne for my 1.07. I do plan on beginning to contend next year after loading up on RBs in that draft. I have 4 25 firsts and 3 of them should be pretty solid picks. Would you do this trade to have a for sure stud vet for next season or just pass since we now how quickly a RBs value can crumble?

Another little note, I own this managers 25 1st so this will definitely weaken his team as he is trying to blow his team up and acquire 24 picks from what I've been hearing. This is a home league so very active.

1QB league, I’d give 1.07 for Etienne.

I’m not contending this year but plan on building towards that next year

I'd buy him but I'd be open to selling him in-season. RBs are risky commodities to hold if you're not contending. But the value is good so I'm doing the deal anyway.

I like ETN here - think he should be good for another few years. Agree that you can sell him mid-season if your team is not competing.

I have 1.5 and would consider 1.5 for Etn but not sure I could pull the trigger, probably can’t. For 1.7 I would for sure though

Give me Etienne and it’s not close. He’s still young and valuable and you could definitely flip him mid season if you so desired. But I would personally build my RB stable around him this season if I were you

This is smart advice

Seems just about right.

Mentioned in a thread about the 1.06 for swift,

At 1.07 you're looking at the following:
MHJ, nabers, odunze going 1-3
So 4-7 are probably some combo of:
Bowers
Worthy (or your favorite wr)
Caleb (could see him go in this range to a team without a good QB)
Brooks (probably my top choice assuming contending)

I think I'd rather brooks over etn, but not sure if he makes it to 7. Probably would like etn over Williams and worthy, not sure about Bowers, probably etn on competing team, Bowers on rebuild. That puts etn for me at the 1.05-1.06 range. So yeah I'd give up the 1.07 for etn, but I'd rather do it on the clock to ensure brooks isn't there.

this comes down to Brooks or ETN take the one you like best.
