Trading two 1sts for what will most likely be the 25 1.01?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.07 and 25 1st(mid-late) or 25 1st(early probably 1.01) and the 2.01

Trading two 1sts for what will most likely be the 25 1.01?

Postby Viking386 » Tue Apr 23, 2024 5:00 pm

For team in signature.

Have an offer to trade my 1.07 and a 25 1st (mid-late) for what will 99 percent be the 25 1.01 and the 2.01 for this year.

The 25 I’m trading belongs to probably the 3rd best team in the league as of now so to be safe just call it a mid to late.

As for the future first I’m trading for I know we say you can’t predict the future but he has by far the worst roster in the league with very little draft capital. The guys starting roster is

QB- Levis
RB- Perine
RB- Foreman
WR- Jeudy
WR- KJ Hamlee
TE- Laporta
Flex- Tutu Atwell
Flex- Wandale Robinson

His only first is the 1.10 this year and only has his 25 1st.

Would you guys make this trade or just stay put with the 1.07 and the 25 1st I currently have?

I plan on tanking the year and loading up at RB next season.

I’m making this move, especially if you’re in a rebuild. It’s worth the wait for the potential #1 pick next year

You'd better be very confident in your projections. That's all.

Our teams are the two bottom teams as of today and I just don't see a way in which he improves his team to be the third worst. His only two picks worth anything with be the 1.07 and the 1.10 of this year then the 25 mid to late I give him. His only desirable asset is Sam Laporta. I get it, we dont want to project picks a year out but I dont see how he somehow becomes a mid pick team with that team and no valuable picks in the next two years

Right my concern is your team is also not very good, and you've essentially got 1.01 for 1.02 or 1.03 a year away for 1.07 this year... could be an overpay if you don't end up mid next year.

^This.

Our 2023 off-season consensus #10 doubled their win total from 2022 and is now in a spot to "compete" and my traded 1.01 became the 1.02.

I am too. The Cowboys are drafting a RB, they go too, and its probably either Benson or Brooks and they should be sitting there at 1.07. If not, then I might make the trade.

Trust me I get this but he has a waiver wire roster with his only first being 1.10 and his 25 1st. I get things change like crazy but this man has butchered that roster and I dont see how you turn that around in one season.
