Josh Allen, 2025 2nd for Purdy+

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Not that it would change my mind any, but what round 1 pick do you currently have?

I’m keeping Allen though in this scenario, although it would put you in a spot to get Bowers.

Is this a dynasty league? Keeper league?

In a full blown dynasty I’d be more likely to consider this trade because it adds depth. Also what is your starting positions?

Only reason i'm debating moving Allen bc i dont have much depth outside my starters. Im just not a huge fan of players outside the top 7 in this draft. The top 2 picks dont need a qb and picks 3-4 do.

Pretty close for me, id probably ultimately hold but if you can get a good young player instead of 1.09 or 1.12 I’d be very interested.
Also important is whether your league is active. Could you flip any of the 1sts? I wouldn’t want to pick them all.

…Or a future 1st on top would absolutely convince me.

League is pretty active but not sure if people will want a later 1st for a good young player. He has 1.06 which im thinking of countering instead of 1.09. I would like to get one of Nabers/Daniels/Maye and either Bowers or Odunze.

I think I'm taking this (though I'd love to replace 1.12 with the other person's 1st in 2025). I think the gap between Allen and the next tier of QBs has shrunk. Don't get me wrong: Allen's still in that top tier. But the next couple of tiers have moved up. I know the axiom of always getting the best player, but it doesn't apply 100% of the time. I think this is one of those times.

I want the picks side. Seems fair without the 1.12 to me. That pick is gravy.

I took the deal. It ended up being Allen, Mid-Late 2025 2nd, 2.11 for Purdy, 1.05, 1.09, 1.11, 2.07. Overall happy with the deal and needed some depth bc i had none. Thanks all for everyones input.

I like this deal for you. I would’ve tried to keep the 2025 2nd, but understand proceeding with it as is. I still think Allen is the better QB, even without Diggs this year. But those picks will add depth in a big way.

I’m curious to see what you do with those picks!
