1 QB Dynasty Trevor Lawrence Trade

I am looking to upgrade across the board and look to rebuild. Got an offer to receive Trevor Lawrence for Najee Harris and a 3.03. I think Najee has lost his explosiveness and I have my 1.03 and 2.10 still for this years draft. Any thoughts on the trade?

Trade seems reasonable for your team. Najee has definitely not impressed… all volume based and now his volume is dwindling. Complete downward trajectory.

T Law is definitely an upgrade at QB for you. I keep thinking he’ll make the big leap each year, and I’m continually disappointed. With the new QB class, emergence of Love, etc — I’m concerned he’ll slowly keep falling down the ranks. He’s already approaching QB2 rankings - not ideal for 1QB leagues. But he’s 24yo and hopefully gets more weapons this year.

I get that people dislike Najee quite a bit but this deal doesn't seem right to me. Neither T.Law nor Najee is a difference maker in 1QB but RB is far more valuable than QB. I'm fine trading Najee for a QB but it needs to be a tier higher (Kyler, Love, Herbert). The 3.03 doesn't make up the gap.

I’d do this. It doesn’t look like you are in a position to compete this year, so ship out the RB.

I'm far higher on Lawrence than most. He didn't meet expectations last year, but also played hurt quite a bit and just didn't have as much chemistry with Ridley (who was miscast in the role the coaching staff gave him as an outside on the boundary deep shot WR) as we'd hoped. His favorite WR, Kirk, was also injured much of the year. I'm fine with this trade. Think it fixes QB assuming 12+ teams for at least the next decade. He's not going anywhere, and hopefully he takes the next step to consistent be top 6-8.

Now go sell a handcuff RB and Otton for a TE upgrade. Consider adding the 2.03 if needed to get a deal done.

I agree with this take. TLAW isn't a difference maker in 1 QB formats and Najee looked better last year and the offense will have better QB play.

I agree, Lawrence is not someone I'm trading for, and the 3/3 does nothing for me.
