I am higher on Penix and Nix than everyone and fine with taking one at 13 and if not I am probably willing to chance it. I do think one of them will be there and if not another good receiver will fall.

I think doing it before the draft takes place allows me to receive counter offers since we have a 24 hour mandatory window before it processes.

He asked for Musgrave because he needs a TE and now is thinking before he pulls the trigger. The irony is I traded Jefferson for 1.02 1.07 and 2.07. So I would get Chase plus two picks and I like Chase more.

Unless you're in one of those leagues where you know Caleb isn't going @ 1.01, I'd take Chase for the 1.02 without much hesitation. Take the value and figure out the positional need later

Villain has good team but one starting QB and someone else has picks 1.01, 1.04 and 1.05 and I heard he is offering Chase in some kind of package deal for pick 1.04. I never thought he would entertain the offer but desperate people do desperate things.

I could use a QB but am willing to wait till later.

I wouldn't bank on a Day 1 starting QB being available at 13. If I'm reading your signature correctly and you also have the 1.07, I would anticipate one of the top-4 QBs being there.

But again, regardless of all of that, if giving up the 1.02 for Chase is actually on the table, do it now and figure the rest out later

One guy is rebuilding and has picks 1.01 1.04 1.05 1.10 1.12 and some 2nd rounders. He is taking QB's at 1, 4 and 5. He keeps Caleb and will use one as a backup and one as trade bait. I will take a WR and so will pick 3. The guy at #6 will take Odunze (he has TE's) and I have #7 for Brock or QB.

The guy with all the picks is planning on trading pick 4 for Chase in a package.

Of the next 5, no one is in dire need of a QB but McCarthy will surely go. I just suspect people looking at mocks will believe they shouldn't take Penix or Nix and at least one will be there.

You prefer Chase to JJ, and you have Penix & Nix higher than Maye, Daniels, and McCarthy? Wow.

why wouldn't someone prefer Chase with Burrow over JJ with a bad QB? Is that odd? I don't think most experts would agree.

Penix and Nix are rated higher with Matt Waldman's scouting report, which is dependent on landing spots. But they are older, more experienced, more ready and have better existing metrics, and a lot of them to go by. QB's are a crap shoot anyway and if I am taking one I am fine to take a top position player who is more likely to hit and one late. I openly admit this goes against popular opinion, but don't care about that.

How about this. And I think this is all interesting as to early draft picks.

I was just offered 4 and 5 for 2 and 7. So Nabers and Bowers or Odenze and Maye/Daniels
