Kevin White was pretty awful for a top 10 NFL pick.

All true. I don't think he is a top ten dynasty bust. I took him in the middle of round two with the hope of red shirting him. Would have been a steal had it worked out.

If we're talking a combination of NFL & Fantasy Dynasty criteria?

Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Why?

Went 1.01 in many a rookie draft over Jonathan Taylor
Went in 1st round of NFL draft

In 4 years has had less production than Trent Richardson in 3.

TR 3 Year Totals
48 Games
2944 Total Yards
17 Rushing TDs (19 total)
44.2 Yards per game

CEH 4 Year Totals
46 Games
2610 Total Yards
12 Rushing TDs (19 Total)
38.4 Yards per game

Trent Richardson still drew a 1st the year after he was drafted (both in NFL & fantasy). So you had a safe out.

For these reasons I nominate Clyde Bust-Helaire as a top 10 recent Bust of all time
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

I’m with you here, CEH is a significantly underrated bust in both fantasy and the NFL.

Imagine the Chiefs with JT instead of CEH.

i get the argument, but when you consider one was taken #3 overall and the other #32... i still go Trent.

I don't think Clyde fits. For dynasty? Easily. But in the NFL he was the last pick of the first round. Him being a bust had no noticeable impact on the Chiefs

Agreed. Expectations should be vastly different for a #3 overall pick (especially RB that high) and a #32.

Some of these players are probably too far back for many of the members of the forum, but I remember getting bitten by the Lawrence Phillips hype in a redraft league way back when.
he was a couple of years before i started playing... i do recall watching his career... i forgot about him running over people.. what a sad life. and defiantly a top 10 fantasy flop.

i do think overall you have to discount the qb flops.. teams reach all the time for them. i kind of view it as wr/rb/te flops with qb's needing to be in a separate bucket

I disagree. KC won two Super Bowls with CEH. I doubt they could have won them without him.
Not completely joking.
In 2022, CEH started the first 6 games and scored 5TD in that span (7TDs on the season). KC had home field advantage over Cincy by one game. If CEH hadn't played so well to start the season, particularly against TB, KC could have lost a game and home field advantage in the AFC championship game.

CEH hasn't been Tony Dorsett, but he hasn't been Trent Richardson either.
