I think there may be some confusion here. I don't think Cazzie is referring to your post in the Rice thread about the car accident in high school. I wasn't looking for condolences or pity. It's the only situation I've had personally that comes close to the Rice experience.
Both guys were young like Rice, 19. They weren't racing but the driver was driving too fast around a curve, hopped the curb and hit a tree. Passenger wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was killed. The driver was in the Marines home on leave. He has been drinking, so he, like Rice fled.
My point to the story was that even his case, which resulted in a death didn't end him prison for a long period of time, so the likelihood of Rice seeing any is slim. This was back in 2005 and in OH.
