Rank Your Top Six in TEP Superflex

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Bowers

Depending on situation, I'm going to slot a RB in the tier with Penix/Bowers
You still higher on Nabers than MHJ????

I was higher on Nabers before the draft, but MHJ wins the landing spot contest easily, IMO.
So post draft I now have MHJ ahead of Nabers.

Hate to tell you this but Penix likely won't even see the field until year three of your three year window.

Not much has changed for me. Slight movements.

Williams
Harrison
Daniels
Nabers
Maye
JJM/Odunze
Bowers
Penix/BTJ

Still working out how I feel about Odunze to the Bears. From a likely Williams owner I love the weapons, but definitely feels like a luxury pick for a team that shouldn't be taking luxury picks. If I own Cousins I'm grabbing Penix, otherwise I'll probably pass.

I like Odunze well enough. But this thread asked for my top 6 in a SF+TEP league and he's not in my top 6

I am very high on MHJr.
But there's something about Nabers. I thought NYG would have been better served with an OL because that's why Danny got hurt last year - he was taking way too many hits and running for his life every other play behind that joke of a line. But Danny is a pretty good QB with a great arm, and the Giants don't have any other receivers if Waller bails.

I have them both in the same tier on my ranking. There's not much separating them IMO. Either would be a good choice.

I think Penix is starting before most people think.
Lot of holes in that Cousins contract.
Click on the red scissors on the right hand side of the screen.

Besides, reports last night had Cousins so pissed off he will probably waive his no trade clause now.

I don't believe that at all. As I mentioned in another thread, I think Atlanta is going to trade Cousins before three years. Maybe as soon as the end of the 2024 season.

Unlike the Jets, Atlanta did not allow the presence of an old, injured QB to deter them from drafting a QB should one fall to them. Atlanta signed Cousins because it was a great due diligence decision. It was impossible to predict what QB would fall to them, and if it would be someone they wanted. Once they saw who was there, they took him.

QBs drafted in the Top 10 picks do not sit for three seasons.

We shall see! I think when you reach for a 2nd round QB in the top 10, it's quite the unusual circumstance.

FWIW, I'm not sold that Penix will be a great long-term starting QB. However, Atlanta decided they liked him enough to choose him with a T10 pick. Because of their opinion of Penix and where they drafted him, I am certain Penix will start by 2025 at the latest.

Look at it this way. Aside from the cap hit, why wouldn't ATL trade Cousins if they believe Penix is good enough? Denver would probably take him. I know the Jets would take him. If AOC plays poorly in 2024, Las Vegas would be another potential place for Cousins. There will be options.

He said sit for 2 not 3. I’d say that’s the most likely scenario if I had to pick a number of years sat.

Do you not like odunze or think that landing spot is a death sentence? I like the spot for dynasty. Give me all the odunze if this is how the market feels I guess!
I wouldn't say death sentence, but I did not like the landing spot for Odunze.
More just caps his ceiling, IMO
Guess I just disagree, ceiling year 1 capped sure, year 2 on nothing is capped. Elite talents don’t get capped, maybe part of this is just how highly I view odunze.

Yeah, we just disagree.
Bears are the only NFL team to never have a 4,000 yard passer, OR a QB who threw for 30+ TD's.
Some folks think that Caleb Williams has already won his 8 Super Bowls, but color me not convinced.

I was an Odunze fan, and really hoped the rumors of the Bills moving into the top 10 to grab Odunze were true.
Alas, they were not true.
So now Odunze is stuck on a team with the worst QB track record in 100+ year NFL history, and sitting behind 2 other WR's. Pass.

Denver just drafted Bo Nix at 12, but I'm sure the Raiders would love to have Cousins

Forgot about Nix to Denver. Then again, Nix is sort of forgettable. No matter. After 6 or 7 games, he'll be a career backup and Denver will be happy to upgrade to Cousins next offseason.

Bowers is my 1.07 unless McCarthy gets top 10 draft capital.

Don't care about the 2 pt TEP. Too much is unknown about landing spot for Bowers and right now the biggest hope is that he lands in LAC, but even if he does, do we think that offense is going to be through the air or on the ground?
