Should I move Justin Herbert in SF?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I move Justin Herbert in SF?

Postby eraldo_coil » Sun Apr 07, 2024 2:16 pm

Team 1 in the sig, I was offered an interesting deal where I’d be moving Herbert. My other QBs are decent but I am slightly worried about depth.

Give: Justin Herbert, Ridley

Get: Jamarr Chase, Zack Moss

Thoughts on this?
Team 1
12-team, 0.5 PPR, SuperFlex, TE Premium (+0.5 PPR) | 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3FLEX, 1SF

QB: Hurts, Herbert, Cousins, Purdy
RB: Taylor, Barkley, Swift, Mixon, N.Harris, Hunt, Dobbins
WR: Jefferson, Adams, Metcalf, Godwin, Ridley, Lockett, Cooks
TE: Kittle, Njoku, Gesicki

Team 2
12-team, PPR | 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX

QB: Wilson, Jones
RB: Robinson, Gibbs, Mixon, Sanders, R. White
WR: Lamb, Godwin, Lockett, Addison, D. Johnson, Meyers, Campbell, R. Moore
TE: Kincaid, Dulcich, Fant

I'd want more in a 0.5 PPR, but this is certainly the right ballpark and you have the QB depth to make this work.

I like ridley a lot more than moss. Chase and herbert are close. I’d pass.

I'd try Herbert for Chase. Try to sell Ridley for a mid to early 2nd and draft a RB with better upside.

I see a lot of people selling Herbert low, but I think this is a good return for him if you want to move him. I could care less about the difference from Ridley to Moss. Neither will be worth much of anything in a year or two.

I think Herbert is going to scare a lot of people halfway through the season in Harbaugh's offense. I see this is a good price to move him
