Minor Move for Evan Hull

12-man, 1 ppr, we start qb-rb-rb-rb-wr-wr-wr-wr-te-flex-flex-k-d.

Guy offered 4.12 for Evan Hull, to back up JT. I countered asking for 4.01.
No response yet.

Should I take that pick or try to get the 4.01?
I think Hull is a valuable handcuff.
I'd rather keep him then give him up for the 4.12 flier.

This league starts THREE MINIMUM RBS so they are always valuable.

I’m interested to see if Hull can be the pass catching back in Indy this year, but even still, hard to see what kind of value he’d return with JT and AR as primary running options. Kinda think AR will scramble before a lot of safety valve dump-offs

I mean, sure, but 4.12 is the LAST pick you're really taking a flier, where 11 picks earlier there might still be a guy there. IMO. 4.01 you might get a Thrash. 4.12 might be Guerendo.

4.01 = Hull > 4.12

All these pieces are marginal at best but if I had to choose I'd keep Hull and see what he's got. He was the first RB this coaching staff drafted and there's a chance to achieve instant viability if JT goes down again.

I'll bet on the guy averaging over 4.5YPC versus the guy that averaged 3.12 YPC in the preseason then rushed once for 1 yd and missed the rest of his rookie season in the meantime.

I'll bet on the guy averaging over 4.5YPC versus the guy that averaged 3.12 YPC in the preseason then rushed once for 1 yd and missed the rest of his rookie season in the meantime.

Fair. But everyone was averaging plus +4.3 ypc behind that line last year. Tyler Goodson was almost almost 7. And Indy kinda already said with their snap distribution that Sermon ain’t it if JT goes down. For me, I’d want the lotto ticket in Hull, Sermon kinda feels like an already scratched off $1 winner

If the only offer I'm getting from this guy is the 4.12 I'd just rather hold Hull and see if anything happens. I countered with the 4.01 but he hasn't accepted it. It's still a very late pick, but there might be a flier there I like better.

I don't think we're really on the same page.

I have JT and Moss and Sermon and Sermon is probably droppable in my format.

I'm not saying Sermon is the guy now and Hull is a bum, I'm just saying I wouldn't make a move to acquire Hull when we've basically seen nothing out of him. We know Trey Sermon is just a guy.

BLUF: If he's free, sure feel free to grab Hull off of waivers. But to trade for him? Nah, couldn't be me, especially since we don't know what the depth chart is at this point in time.
