Trading Chubb

Is it time to move on from Nick Chubb?

I have Breece Hall and Jahmyr Gibbs as my top 2 RBs, and been offered 2 3rds for him. Given his age and the severity of his injury is it time to move on or hold?

Doesnt seem as if this team is listed. Is this super flex and are you trying to contend with this team?

The time to move Chubb for value was 2-3 years ago. But if you're holding on to him at this stage I'd continue to hold him until we see what he looks like in season.

If there was ever a RB that bucks the system on returning from an injury it is Chubb...easy hold now.

Agreed. Can't imagine getting sufficient value in return to not just hold.

2x 3rds is hot garbage. Hold at that price point for sure.

The return won’t surpass a 2 so you hold. Just like a Conner or a Montgomery.

It’s not from a team listed, it’s SF and I’m not contending at this point.

If you're not contending, best to hope he comes back and looks good. Then hopefully you can get a better return from a contender than two 3rd's. It's what I plan to do with him if it works out that way. Then there's this:

Browns | Nick Chubb making good progress in rehab Tue Mar 26, 01:15 PM

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) is 'doing a fantastic job with his rehab' and should be able to move from the conditioning phase of his rehab to some pre-football activity, according to general manager Andrew Berry.'As we think about it, until we see him in the next couple of months, I think the next - call it three - months will be pretty telling in terms of his potential readiness for early in the season. We're going to be conservative in terms of our approach in our assessment with building the roster because (Chubb is) coming off of a major knee injury. But I do have to give him a lot of credit. He's done a really, really nice job. But I think we'll have a better sense. Don't hold me to it, but I think probably if you ask me that question around the draft, I may have maybe a little bit more of a specific answer,' Berry said.

So maybe there's hope.

Id agree but he is the exception to the rule... while all good things come to an end... let's give the Chubbster the opportunity.

:shifty: Taking the 2x 3rds and pairing up or drafting dart throws.
