Next Moves?

I am having trouble deciding on my next move(s). Throughout the offseason I have tried to trade some firsts for players to help win now, but I just haven't been able to find the right deal (Also just doesn't help that a couple teams just aren't that active at this point in the offseason). As it stands now, I don't believe my team would be very competitive (at least compared to the top few teams). Do I try to continue to get aggressive and trade my firsts for players that can help me win now? Or, with the team that I have, do I just plan on making my picks in the draft and see what happens from there? Yes, I have also tried to trade up with no luck. There are only two people that have the top 4 picks and it appears none of them want to trade down.

Any advice would be appreciated! Team in signature, thanks!

Have you explored going the other direction -- tearing it down? You already have a ton of future picks, and that's a great start.

Lamb, R White, Cooper, and Dak might be at their highest values. Harris/Warren, Diontae, Godwin, Kirk, Jeudy, Brown have all had their situations improve and might be at a value spike.

I agree with you that your team isn't probably good enough to really compete for a championship. Given that a lot of your guys are older / getting older and potentially at the peak of their value, perhaps you could trade them off either getting younger and/or getting more picks. Thoughts?

You have like 97 Steelers. lol.

I do agree with all those future picks making them as valuable as possible in 1QB.

I appreciate the thoughts. That certainly crossed my mind at the start of the offseason but I was hoping I could get another year or two out by trading some picks. That may be the direction I have to turn though.

Like others have said it looks like it’s time to tear it down and rebuild around Lamb unless you get a godfather offer for him. Looks like you’re stuck in middle of the road purgatory and that’s the worst place you want to be. You either want to be rebuilding or contending. You’re right in the middle

Anyone else have any thoughts on this team? Keep searching for ways to improve this year? Sell off some assets and keep the picks?

I'd probably try to use Kirk, Godwin or Hollywood along with 1.05 or 1.06 and trade for 1.02 or 1.03. Grab one of those elite WR talents. Than package the other two receivers and the other pick (1.05 or 1.06) and shoot for a RB 1. Someone like Barkley, maybe Gibbs if he's available, though I am not sure if he's too pricey.
