I voted Pierce but I think we need more information?

Was the entire team really listed or were some bench players left off? What are the starting requirements?

Meaning if this team really only has 4 RBs but has more than the 2 TEs listed, I could absolutely make a case for keeping Pierce over Dulcich. It is a long season, RBs get hurt, etc. In a Best Ball format you'll need bodies at RB.

Also does this format allow trades and / or free agent pickups in mid season?

12 Team Superflex Best Ball PPR TEP +1.5
QB: Lawrence, Kyler Murray, O’Connell
RB: Gibbs, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown, Pierce
WR: London, Tank Dell, Pickens JSN, Michael Wilson
TE: McBride, Dulcich
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Justin Shorter
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023  , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions

Picks:
2024: 1.06, 2.06, 4.06, 5.06, 6.06, 7.06, 8.06

The entire team is listed in the signature except for Quentin Johnston. We have to cut down to 14 players by the end of March

Starting requirements are: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex, Superflex

There are free agent pickups twice weekly via FABB and trading all year until the trade deadline around week 12

Interesting format. What are the roster sizes after the draft and when the NFL games start?

Given everything you've said and the league format, agree a TE2 is necessary. But the team will need more RBs too and Pierce is someone I'd think about redrafting at some point.

After the cut down date, the restriction is lifted and roster sizes are unlimited. The rookie/free agent is 10 rounds in early May. Then we cut down to 20 for the season and you cannot exceed 20 during the season. No bench or taxi squad, but we do have 3 IR spots that can be used for players actually on IR

Dulcich is the TE1 for Denver, and it's TEP. Wilson is currently set up to be a top-2 option for Arizona. Pierce got relegated to the bench last year by Singletary who's not that great IMO, and last year as a secondary RB he only caught 13 balls on 17 targets (he also added 2 TD's on 147 carries for a 2.9 YPC average). With the money Houston paid Mixon, it looks like more of the same for Pierce until 2026 making him the easy choice to release for me.

OP has to make the cut before the NFL draft, so based on what we know now I don't see any upside in Pierce. There's usually 2nd string RB's to add through FA at a later time if desired. Keaton Mitchell, Jaleel McLaughlin are just two examples from 2023 that likely fell into that category in many leagues.
