Trying to get 1.01 in Superflex TEP

12-man, 1 ppr, TEP (2 total PPR), we start qb-rb-rb-wr-wr-te-superflex-flex-flex-flex.
Superflex #2 in signature, I came in 11th place last year.
Added in Bijan, JSN, Downs last year in the draft, DJM via trade.
New orphan, my second year, I have the 1.02, 1.06, 2.02, 2.04.

I'm trying to get the 1.01.
He uses KTC for evaluation.
I offered Cousins + 25 1st (assume early) he passed. Was -500 at KTC for him.
I offered Cousins + 25 1st (early) + 25 2nd (early) + 24 2.04. KTC is 16,000 to 12,000 in HIS FAVOR. No response yet.

I want to keep my picks at 1.02 and 1.06 if possible.

So my question is this—how much are you willing to move to get the 1.01?
I'll see what he says on the Cousins + early 25 1st + two early seconds.
I'd be willing to add the 2.02 to the mix if I had to.
I'm okay not making this trade happen if I have to add the 1.06, I'll just take my four picks.

Thoughts?

PS: If I keep my picks I'm hoping to get something like Williams/Harrison, Bowers, McConkey, Mitchell with my picks.

THANKS!

What does his team look like? If I earned the 1.01, I have zero interest in Cousins. No matter what KTC says.

well I’m fine giving that up in a vacuum but philosophically I don’t like this as my personal approach to rebuild:
1) I would almost never move my next year first if I’m rebuilding. Sure there’s circumstances where the values too good but personally if I’m not contending I’m tanking until I have resources enough to flip and compete.
2) while start crazy 10 isn’t deep, it’s not shallow either. I’m not trying to consolidate assets with your current roster, I want to be throwing more darts and having more if anything. I’d want Build as much equity as possible and when you have enough then you consolidate into a consolidate.

Anyways aside from the overall strategy aspect, for the actual trade if you’re deadset on getting Caleb, it’s probably light if anything, despite what the calculator says. Cousins and a future 1st isn’t all that attractive on paper.

If the guy earned the 1-01 he will want something besides an aging Cousins , I think you have get the other picks involved for sure.

I'm okay moving the 1.02 to get the 1.01. It's just a matter of how much I'm willing to give up. I'd love to get both Williams/Harrison here. I agree on more picks, that's why I moved a few assets to get the other picks.

I'd be willing to go up to Cousins + 25 1st, 25 2nd, 2.02, 2.04. If he wants more than that then I'm out. And he may.

This does not look like a roster where I’d want any part of Kirk. He’s in super rebuild mode imo.

^^^^yeah, I'll make my offers, but I expect him to reject. In looking at his roster his team is worse than mind. His core players are bad. I guess that's why I thought he'd rather have four picks, with three 2nds and a 1st than just the 1.01. Him getting Williams or Harrison isn't going to help him. He has the 1.01, and the .01 in all other rounds, as well as the 1.12. IDK, I'll offer and see. Honestly, it's not about Cousins as it's more about him getting more picks.

If i had a $1 for every time Wick was trying to move up to 1.01.... actually i'm not sure. There is a joke in there somewhere.

seriously. unless you are 1 piece away from Titletown, don't give up the farm for 1 spot brutha. :)

I got to the 1.01 from the 1.09 in one league where I was in 1st/2nd all year. So, why not take a shot on this one? I also got three shares of Bijan last year so...we'll see how this all shakes out. Just having fun, trying to wheel and deal.

A future 1st and 3x 2nds doesn't even merit a response for 1.01 honestly. If I'm in a rebuild with a generational prospect at QB, I draft said generational prospect and pray. Or I trade him for an elite, young QB and another early to mid 1st or multiple future picks. No scenario where I'd accept any of your offers so far, they just don't make sense for my (in this thought exercise) build.

Why use Cousins to move up? Most folks who earned the 1.01 the hard way aren't going to want Cousins.

Yeah, I hear you. He may feel differently. He didn't seem offended by the first offer, and the second offer is in his favor, according to KTC, which he uses as an evaluation tool. He'll probably pass, but I'll take the shots. You never know. But thanks for chiming in, I don't DISAGREE with you LOL.

I thought Cousins would be a nice bridge, and I want to keep Goff, so I just thought I'd see what he said. Had to start somewhere.
