For team in signature (12 team Superflex, PPR). Need outside opinions on a trade I just rejected because the other owner seems to think this was an outrageous rejection on my part.

I feel like this was an insane ask (maybe I'm wrong?). For better situational awareness, the other owner only has Hurts and Fields at QB, doesn't have a 1st or 2nd the next three years and only a 4th in 2026. I have 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 2.5, 2.9 this year. I plan to go QB at 1.3 then BPA with a a strong focus on WR with the remaining picks. Should I have accepted or at least countered this trade? Just seemed like and insane price to pay.

Was told ETN is such a small piece and not comparable to Taylor that in order to make it worth trading Taylor he would need ETN and Metcalf.

Haha tried. Hard no. Apparently it has to be the full deal and for some reason Metcalf ties it all together and makes it "fair"

Agree. Remove those 3 pieces from the equation and asses If you want to move them for Hurts. Tough for him to decline by his logic.

id take that deal with all you have to work with as far as picks. you can get both a qb3 and a high upside wr. but now you got hurts and JT as well.

Trust me, would love to have both of those guys, just seems like I'm giving up a massive amount to get them. Not sure the return would be worth what im giving up.

Have you played in a start 12 league before? You won’t be able to field a starting lineup taking deals like this.

You really got offended by that question huh? Wasn’t the intention, a lot of people don’t play in deep leagues (and/or don’t read the starting requirements) so it’s worth pointing out to help the OP . IMO telling them hurts/Taylor and not even close isn't great advice for the format so it’s worth making sure you’ve played in deep leagues before. Sorry to offend, happy to discuss further or we can move on.
